Obviously routing for the UK guys as I'm from UK, am I the only one that thinks a lot of westerners fight differently? So many punches it doesn't look like muay Thai sometimes? I'm just a casual fan so maybe I'm wrong.

Nong o did not fight smart. He should of distance himself and keep cracking Nico in the legs. Nico showed his weakness after those leg kicks. Nong -O didn't fight intelligently

As an armchair analyst I agreed with you. I thought Nong-O was doing so well toward the end of Round 1, keeping distance and relentlessly attacking Nico's legs to the point where he's visibly hurt and limping. Thai fighters want to show aggression and tend not to back up, which is ok when fighting in larger boxing gloves. As we've seen in recent matches against western fighters with great boxing skills, you can't curl up and take punches from these small gloves.

Ridiculous size advantage. Reminds me of Alex Pereira at middleweight. Carillo defo seems to have a roof gut as well. Nong Old is clearly past his best and nearly won if he stuck to round 1 plan and kept off the ropes and kept targeting the leg. Carillo is good but hard to say if the hype is justified until he takes on a top five.

These 2 are meant to take out Thai fighters not each other. Superlek and Rodtang is a classic example, refusing to fight each other until they absolutely couldn’t. Even then, they made sure Rodtang’s belt was not at stake. And of course after that exhibition match Superlek wants to go for Haggerty instead of going after Rodtang’s belt. SURPRISE SURPRISE.

(Don’t come back with the argument Ramazanov was disrespectful first, Nong-O could have been the bigger man to show the youngster what respect is but he didnt).

@@slickbricknick123 Yeah, Nong-On is not one of my favorites. I’m more old school Buakaw type of guy. But that’s not what we’re talking about. We’re adults and Nico is clearly not mature yet. That’s easy to see.
