Phil is right, "Supper's Ready" IS the definitive Genesis song. Especially the live "Second's Out" version.

@ Phil Collins, Sir you are magic and you have to know that. There will never be anything but magic come out of mouth, and the world 🌎 has been graced by God with your talents. I am sorry for you that you no longer play the 🥁 drums that is your passion. But knowing your will you will continue to play but not as hard as you once did. But we love your songs and that will never change. Don't ever give up cause your God given talent will always be there as we will stay with you. Forever.....

Great great interviewer..meaningful questions..doesn't interrupt..show proper respect..even when throwing a couple of edgy/gritty remarks ..knows the right balance between fun and seriousness..

Fantastic musician! But he hasnt been as good as he was in the past. I just don't get it why they skipped talking about both sides and dance into the light' albums! Anyway, you're incredible Mr Collins! I hope you, Peter and Mike can be on stage together once more while it's still possible.

Interviewer seems like a nice guy, but there is almost no talk of Phil's music. A brief mention of Face Value and then immediately to the Oscar fiasco regarding Against All Odds. Then nothing about No Jacket Required, But Seriously, Both Sides, Dance Into the Light. Let Alone all of the amazing work with Genesis. The interviewer seemed to study the highlights of Phil's career without a real in depth knowledge of his music. Just my observation.

I thought along those same lines because in addition to some of the things that you mention being left out, such a big part of Phil's career (and even more so with Genesis) is the live shows and those live recordings. Both legit, and the bootlegs that are nearly as popular as the official ones. I don't think they mentioned a single one. They sort of hinted at the Big Band thing, but didn't really go into it. But I imagine this was an edited version of a much longer interview. Maybe an unedited version is floating around out there somewhere....

This guy is a GREAT interviewer. He has done his homework and asks every question that needs asking. He has Phil relaxed and comes up with wonderful answers. What would he need to do better! Phil Collins is featured.
