You allways thought Phil was the singer, but in fact Brad Cole takes over this part when Phil has vocal problems ;-) New stereo remix from 5.1 surround sound.

Honestly, One of Phil Collin's most signature tracks, and one that makes the album stand out so much. So iconic, with emotion, the instrumental parts, the message and so much more. One of his best work, Truly one-of-a-kind Phil is. Legends. Reminds me of the good times, and it connects with so many people. Truly a masterpiece that hits the heart.

It was on the radio and MTV/VH1 when I was in 7th grade. It reminded me of this girl I liked in kindergarten. She never really liked me back, but we were friends. Our younger sisters were friends, so she'd come over with their mom when her sister would be dropped off.... It's the tone and feel of those experiences that this song brings back. It takes me right to those days, and connects me to them.

The line; "you could've come over to my side, you could've let me know. You could've tried to see the distance between us...but it seemed too far for you to go." Breaks my heart every time I hear it. P.C. has such a haunting voice that I cannot help but recall how angry I was to have lost my big brother and "Irish twin" to the throws of mental illness. We were so young when he left me...I needed to blame someone or something. But alas, no one is guilty...sh*t just happens.

Impressionante a qualidade e a harmônica dessa canção. Obra-prima de Phil Collins... Com sua voz única, uma tonalidade em Fá Maior, progressão de teclado/baixo sensacional, backings vocais bem alinhados com a voz do grande Phil. Gênio!
