That still gets to me every time too. I’m 52 years old and it’s been getting to me for 30 years. She knows she made the wrong choice and it was out of fear. Now she’s got two grown kids and it’s just stuck in this life because that’s what she chose. We still have slight communication here and there. The connection never has gone away. We’ve known each other since 1982. Several of the songs in your 80s list still affect me this way.

In the movie 🎥 White Nights starring dancers 💃 💃 the late Gregory Hines, RIP, and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Written by Stephen Bishop. He permitted Phil Collins to sing this. Odd: SB wrote hits for himself. Yet, he sang a song written by outside writers, It Might Be You. Like Stephen Bishop, Albert Hammond and Buffy Sainte-Marie peaked in the 1970s and continued to write songs but drastically cut down on performing. I was disappointed that these 3 did that. 😞 Nevertheless, I like the songs 👍 Suggested Phil Collins song in a soundtrack: Two Hearts 💕.

Phil has a lot of great material! I like the music he made with Genesis the best! Another suggestion! Play Dreamweaver by Gary Wright! It's a very futuristic and synthesized song from the mid 1970's! People thought all future music would sound like that! That outer spacy, cosmic vibe, but it didn't turn out that way! We're still waiting for the flying cars and time travel!
