Phil, you’re easily the best player of all youtubers and probably the best PLO player in the world, you need to get someone to help with social media cause you should have more subs/follower/viewers than all of them. People need to see the way you approach the game, it changed me and others would feel the same I’m sure.

PLOL8 is quickly becoming one of my favorite mixed games to play. It is also an excellent game for tournaments.

AA68 hand is weird. Can get over half his stack in with limp re-raise but just calls. I would also probably pot the turn when checked to with just over a pot sized bet. I understand bubble considerations, but if you're going to limp call, might as well just fold pre. AAxx with a low is one of the very few instances in PLO8 where you have a big preflop equity advantage, and it's a dream scenario when you limp and someone behind you pots. Great videos by the way, keep em coming.

Yeah would have loved a deeper explanation of this spot... I thought I understood the limp as setting up for a nice sized re-raise/shove, but was like wait what when he just flats...

In the aces full hand, where you shoved River as a semi bluff low, how can our opponent think that folding for 1/6 of the pot more is equitable?

can someone explain to me at 5:07 why Phil says they chopped the low hand? Because it seems to me Phil's A4327 is lower than Nathan's 45327 for the low hand

nvm just learned that straights and flushes dont count, so both have A4327...

It's the same. The low must be best of 5 cards 8 or lower to qualify for half the pot. (The best qualifying low is 5432a straights and flushes are fine but only low numbers count for low.) Phil galfond is good plo / plo8 player explains the situations well
