A very underrated drummer

I think it was this solo that made me buy a drum kit.

I bloody love his sound and musical decisions.

Great solo and great sound from Phil. Still think he is underrated; still love his part on True Believers to give one example but there were so many others... the albums are still there for us to enjoy. Thanks Phil!

A perfect solo. Short, sweet, and not too filled with technical moves. Just a quick, rhythmic set of snare work and drum exchanges that the entire audience can get into. Loved his groovin', close to Jeff Porcaro and Carlos Vega.

He sure is in the top 10 drummers of all time. You can have the other 9, I'll stick with Phil! (Damn that boy has groove!)
