I disagree, he's like an emotionless robot. He needs to be a bit more talkative, preferably about himself. I think he might be a fairly good player, but unless starts broadcasting the fact there is no way of knowing.

aggression is often correct. He played good this game, he didn't get unlucky like he did in his viral fail videos that everyone loves to watch. He is a good player. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. He isnt as good as he thinks he is but he is probably one of the best.

This was one of the most boring poker montages I have watched. Here is the recap: Phil plays a better range, Phil wins hand. No white magic, no crazy moves, one decent all in call from a shove that made little sense. There was also a bizarre amount of multiway pots, and very little three betting. This was not a clinic by a professional poker player. This was like watching the 2/3 game at my local card house.

Phil Hellmuth loves to name drop all the famous people he knows because of his ego. But you ask anyone who isn’t a fan of poker who Phill Hellmuth is and no one has ever heard of him. A lot of big headed poker players are like that because of there ego and still think a poker boom will happen again.

Put Hellmuth and/or Matusow in a game and snoozefest ensues. One hand per hour and minimum buy-in and maximum noise. Boring compared to regular games at Hustler. Get Frank the Tank or Reza or somebody who makes the game interesting. All we needed was Maria Ho playing and the snoring would have been deafening.

most of the time if you call there you will wiff the flop and have to fold or risk your whole stack. He booked a win. Ace king is a coin flip even against 4-2. worse if the other player has congtrol of the pot. If you 4 bet jam you will get snapped off by aces alot of the time. He played tight here but it wasnt bad. I have seen plenty of other pros jettison ace king preflop in these cash games.

I like to laugh when Phil loses, we all have seen the viral fails on his part. Dude is arrogant. But I also laugh when all his butthurt obsessed haters are typing out their anguish at him having success as well. Peoples lack of self awareness never ceases to amaze. Give credit were credit is due. The guy is one of the best to ever play the game numbers don't lie.
