If you study the tape long enough you definitely pick up a read on his bluffing face. His nuts face is the opposite of that. Brad was new to the seen and was not very well known to the high stakes pros at the time. This was by far the biggest game Brad had ever played in. Also, it was pretty well known that Brad was backed by Guy Laliberte and was not playing with his own money. The only reason Ivey ended up folding was because he didn't think that this "new kid" would have the balls to make such a crazy bluff on TV with his backers money when it would be seen by him. In a way, it was a brilliant bluff for that reason. Unfortunately for Brad, his backer stopped backing him after seeing this bluff on TV. So turned out to be a bad play in the grand scheme of things.
