If Booth knew Ivey's hand, there's no way he would bluff shove all in. But Ivey did the math though, figuring it's no worth risking 300k over a 25k bet.

Yeah was about to post the same thing, it’s superb play. I think it was key, Booth made it look inadvertent, natural, like he didn’t realise he was doing it. Painting a picture like he’s an amateur getting overexcited with a set. I know Booth went bankrupt or something but there’s a great video somewhere of him hitting a straight flush against Negreanu with some nice play there...annoyingly I couldn’t find it

A 5 was coming. So he's really broke now? I can tell you what happened if it was poker related. He ride a high of taking $37k from Ivey on a bluff. If you study the tape long enough you definitely pick up a read on his bluffing face. His nuts face is the opposite of that. Poker pros started eating his ass up, phrasing in Mr Archer voice, to where he couldn't make anything on his made hands and was getting destroyed everytime he bluffed abd didn't catch up. He made one crazy play that paid off and thought he was a great poker player. If he lost the some other way then apply the premise above to that situation and most likely there you go

He just put about 8 times the pot in the middle, its easy to say bad fold in that spot , but ivey did a good job.

That’s why brad booth went bust..... To be honest that was a horrible non call by Ivey, he’s worth millions, if he had AA he would of re-raised and if he flopped a set he would went for value. It’s not my money and it’s a tough call but if it doesn’t bust your bank roll which it wouldn’t for Ivey I just floored he didn’t make the crying call....

Brad was new to the seen and was not very well known to the high stakes pros at the time. This was by far the biggest game Brad had ever played in. Also, it was pretty well known that Brad was backed by Guy Laliberte and was not playing with his own money. The only reason Ivey ended up folding was because he didn't think that this "new kid" would have the balls to make such a crazy bluff on TV with his backers money when it would be seen by him. In a way, it was a brilliant bluff for that reason. Unfortunately for Brad, his backer stopped backing him after seeing this bluff on TV. So turned out to be a bad play in the grand scheme of things.

@@commentsforcomments3018 - I always found it weird. I've seen people touch their chips, cards, cash....then go straight to eating and lick their fingers. When I'm gambling I have zero appetite, even if I'm winning.

@@mikea5205 haha, I mean yeah, what you described is nasty. But Antonio was eating a salad with a fork lol, and you think thats disgusting? What games are you playing where people are licking their fingers?
