Phil said he NEVER had a NUMBER ONE hit song, but we CHRISTIANS 😇 know that this brother is our NUMBER ONE musical blessing. Pietermartizburg KZN South Africa 🌍

Phil and his wife Bernadette are extremely kind and generous people. He suggested having a benefit concert for our son when he died - and they did. He also played at the funeral. We are forever in his debt.

This song doesn't seem to age at all. A gospel song that hasn't forgotten that the Lord created music.

My dearest grandmother who with her maker now loved your music and should lift her hands to the Lord and cry to the Lord when she heard this song . We love your music may the Lord strengthen you and your family to carry on his work in music. My uncle ivan Bruce loves your music and encourage me his niece and family to listen to your joyful music to the Lord. We are from South Africa an Indian family but I am staying in the UK and praising the Lord through your music as I listen to it . He is an amazing God and yes his love did breakthrough for you and your music on the cross for us. To God be the Glory and yes we can't wait to see Jesus so in him I want everything else to go that's not of Him in my life to go in Jesus name. Jesus is all we have and need now in this lockdown the world is facing to God be the Glory. Love Roberta Peters.

Roberta Peters this is 2 years to late. I remember your gran a true Saint in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I visited the apartment regularly in the 80s - 90s with CALVIN who shared PHIL'S music with us, we rehearesed WHAT A DAY and played it in the City Hall in PMB. Stay blest, Withholding my identity. Thank God for this man. I feel blessed to have been brought up listening to all of the great bands of the sixties, seventies and eighties. I am even more blessed to experience God’s saving grace and redemption in 1972 and to have witnessed Phil in concert many times. His expression of The Lord’s unfailing love through music is one of God’s greatest gifts to this generation and beyond. Phil has inspired this musician to serve The Lord through the simple musical gift He’s given me since I was a teenager. It never gets old to hear Phil or to proclaim the magnificence of God on my own instrument. I’m so grateful these live recordings have been made, preserved and posted for all to enjoy and be inspired until we “see you, Jesus...face to face”.

Thanks for post; I saw him at Knott's Berry Farm in the Summer of '82 or '83 along with the Sweet Comfort Band.

I'm assuming this is an original composition? One of the prettiest tunes I've ever heard and some of Phil's best singing. This is truly outstanding.

My life's prayer, and favorite song. Wish there was still a place for me in the Evangelical Church. This was back when it was all about Jesus, kindness, joy, purity, seeking God, and loving my neighbor. I wonder if those days will ever return to the American church.

You are so much better off without the "Evangelical Church" and the cult of trump which they embraced. You only need Jesus.
@jamesj99983 жыл бұрын
@@jessehampton1872 agree. Sadly, I simply don't see Jesus there anymore.

Sad to say, I have found it in a small Restoration church; I have been to 2 mega Evangelical churches and have left both.

@@jessehampton1872 Jesus for sure as the DNC kicked God to the Party curb in 2012, and they pulled a Peter.... but at least Peter found redemption by dying upside and God's forgiveness.

I really miss THIS Phil Keaggy phase. We would meet a couple of years later and play "Let Everything Else Go" together at the centennial memorial temple in NYC. What a dream come true! Thanks to the Salvation Army for hosting the concert.

Phil continues to bless me and my family every day with his amazing music and lyrics. I first saw him in concert around 1977 in the Academy of Music in Philly. He and his band were incredible. So blessed by his music! Praise Jesus! 😊🙌

Phil Keaggy ie my fsvorite " chriistian" guitarist. That's saying alot since as far as I know,Bob Dylan& Carlos Santana arer saved. And who knows who else He played with Jimi Hendrix. He could have been a rock GPinstead he chose to follow God's path we paid well as it should he's well-balanced acoustically and electrically early on he was producing and recording his own albums.
