This is an inspiring story!!! Married 13 years things were never easy. When we married I was a Christian but a weak one. My husband drank like a fish. Couldn’t stay busy at a job about year 9 things went from bad to worse. He started looking for other women. His distrust in me was irrational. We have two children and they have seen way too much. One day while conversing with God he sat me down hard. He spoke to me. And told me I had been praying a miss. He said I had been praying for him to stop his sinning and be a good husband and a good dad I had been praying for him to open his eyes to see what he truly had. Which was a wife that loved him two children that the drs had said we couldn’t have. I said yes God that’s what I’ve been praying what is wrong with that. And the answer came. He said a relation ship with God was more important than the relationship with me. Him loving God should have been my prayer not him loving me. Ouch that hurt but that day I changed my prayer life. And I quit focusing on my husband and started focusing on my relationship with God and raising my children to love the Lord. Well my marriage got worse and I won’t get into all that but just know I thought it was bad then but it got much worse. Finally I decided to separate. Everyone that loved me wanted me to get a divorce. But God kept whispering wait. My children and I just kept on praying. Fast forward to now. We are back together. He goes to church with us without me begging he has a greater love for his children and me. God has healed my trust in him which I thought would be impossible. Has he fully committed to Jesus. Not yet but,,,, I see Gods plan and the kids and I continue to pray for him. And I ask that yall will too. He’s not the man he was but when he finally surrenders. Oh what a man he will be.

What a beautiful way to put it Kirk. "God raises the dead". Present tense. That's so deep. It's true. Anyone who doesn't believe God could raise Jesus from the dead hasn't met someone like Phil Robertson. So excited he is our brother! May many more be brought to life through the power of God in all of us.

I pray that God continues to bless them with a lucid mind for the rest of their days. They have so much wisdom to share. It’s truly inspiring how they share the Gospel every chance they get.

I'm so excited to hear your story. I married a guy I liked in high school. I couldn't believe it when he chose me. Unfortunately, I had made a mistake marrying a man who didn't love God like I did. He had an awful temper. People told me to leave. I couldn't. I have made a promise before God, and I believe that God could change it if I just hung in there. I want to see the miracle. If I leave, I will miss it. God gave us a son and then identical triplet girls. I asked God why he would do that with such a mess of a family. It has been hard, but God takes care of my heart while I wait for my husband to come around. To hear Phil speak gives me hope. 😊

I remember having a crush on Kirk Cameron when I was a kid, it's wonderful that he is a great Christian today after living through Hollywood as a child star. I also love Phil and Ms. Kay, their story is amazing, I can't wait to watch the movie ❤❤❤

I relate to Kay so much. I wish I could meet her and share my story it's so similar....it gives me so much encouragement being in the season of restoration in my marriage after separation for 3 years my husband quit drinking cold turkey and was born again. It is hard letting the old us die and building something new without resentment. God continues to work on both of us...

Phil's humility is so inspiring especially to me. I have become very humble recently and I have only a couple years under my belt with submission to Jesus Christ. I am so in love with him and I am blessed to still be here to have the opportunity to become intimate with the LORD. I've always believed and knew GOD is real and alive in me but I finally repented and sought him and believe me you, Christ drew near to me. It's the most amazing blessing there is in this world is to have GOD come into your heart and show you how loved you are! I was looking for his love and didn't know it for 35 years. And I was looking in all the wrong places. I am working through regret of the years I spent running in circles but he is the only authority and worldly time is under his full control! I should be dead several times and he stepped in because of this time now! It's his time! GOD bless us all and please bless him Amen!

Phil baptized me in July 2020. The most beautiful gift anyone has ever given me. God changed my life through Phil's generosity.

I keep faith even as I constantly struggle to take care of my children and I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries. BUT I TRUST YOU LORD! My husband died years ago. At times I feel so alone. I’m a single mom. I suffered an heart attack a year ago and I’m battling lupus so my health is failing. Both of my sons are autistic. I praise you Lord even as I constantly struggling to pay rent. Help me Jesus as I struggle to buy my children’s school supplies because I want to give up. I don’t know how I’m going to get through this, but thankfully I have you Lord! I know you will provide. There are a lot of people who believe they aren’t good enough to come to Christ. I believe we are close to the end times and this movie and the timing of this movie is not an accident. The Lord is using this to help millions before the coming tribulation.

I am so drawn to and Love Phil and Kay's testimony because I to struggled for a while with my husband, after 9 years of marriage he wanted to separate, he never said divorce but he was definitely going wayward and I just kept loving, kept praying, kept seeking God and I knew that with God all things are possible. I had several verses I stood on about marriage and it's true what Ms. Kay's grandma told her you will have to fight for your marriage.

Not a fan of Missy saying on the Unashamed podcast the other day, that you should not marry a non-believer, while some of the other Robertsons were shaking their head in agreement. I love this family and the values that they stand for, but I do not like seeing the hypocrisy. Phil’s entire testimony is based on him being saved after he was a husband and father. And I have heard different family members many times say to never give up on anyone.

The Muslim man did not refute a Christian. He made empty statements and ended up that we do not know. He does not know but Jesus knows what exactly he was speaking about. If Muslim believe that Jesus is the word or God, the spirit of God and the same time the prophet of God, isn't that the same trinity they are trying to reject. The prophet is a man, the spirit is unique, and the word became flesh. What then was he refuting?

I read Phil's background on Wikipedia and congratulate him for cleaning up his act but his weird god beliefs don't make sense to me. It's more likely that Phil decided to change his behavior as people often do but decided that a dead Hebrew preacher he discovered from reading the NT was responsible for the change.

The reply below is an example of the snide remarks I get on many occasions from my posts. Christian: “God hears unbelievers and loves them” You: “WHATTT THIS IS A LITERAL HATE CRIME” And to try to get it through the thick skulls of christians I want to reiterate that I have never cared about what christians say or believe. What I do care about deeply is the tyranny, hypocrisy and sanctimony that is FORCED upon the majority of citizens in my naition. Why is America the only democratic nation where the majority of its citizens are ignored and demonized? If a christian has answer to this question I would be very interested. I believe it has to do solely with the lie of christ which are exactly like the lies of fox news. When it comes to universal health care the majority is ignored and we get a broken for profit system and are called communists. The majority of American's want common sense gun laws and we get bubkis. The majority of Americans want the same freedoms for the LBGT community that we all have...and christians fight against that! The majority of Americans want women to have bodily autonomy and theists fight to force raped 10 year old little girls to give birth...the very definition of tyranny. From banning books, deleting black history, demonizing the LBGT community and actively fighting to destroy what little election freedom we have as nation Christians have always supported tyranny. Because once you can believe in one delusion you can then be manipulated to support men like Trump and vote against your very own interests. The greatest issues that face our nation are caused by poverty and ignorance and christians vote overwhelming for those who do everything in the power to destroy our education system and created an economic system that only benefits the rich. So again tell us how much you love us...but quit forcing your specific delusions and hypocrisy upon the majority of Americans!
