Phil Robertson

Phil Robertson

4 жыл бұрын

Phil fights a plague in his living room and fire ants in his pants, BIG'N is driven close to insanity, and Missy runs the nets with Jase - voluntarily! Phil surveys the damage after a tornado turns his duck blind upside down. And the guys answer a question about Judas' betrayal: Did God create us and not give us a choice between right and wrong? Bonus: Jase reveals the inspiration for this frequently shared "Duck Dynasty" quote: "When you don't know what you're doing, it's best to do it quickly."

I have always been inwardly calmed by the voice of a mature male. Having no grandfathers in my life when I was a child, I felt it was related to that absence. Listening to this podcast over the last few days I think that God has supplied me with an AWESOME anxiety "fix" in listening to the relaxed voices of the Robertson men talking over Gods Word. Thank you gentlemen for letting God use you to speak out His love in such a wonderful calming manner.

About C+ minds. A teacher once told me that the best minds are people who made a C in school. It's because they understand the situation better. I made A's all the time because I memorized everything, but now I see that I didn't learn the subjects until I had to experience them.

Thank you guys for spreading the Gospels. Love your podcast, don't go away, I really look forward to 4pm on wed, fri and sun. When you guys started the Sunday podcast, I was always left wanting more. One hour just wasn't enough, apparently many many others thought the same, so i was super excited to hear Al announce the Friday edition, then the Wednesday edition. I enjoy the chit chat during the first half, but I really enjoy the last half hour when you guys get into the Bible Studies. Thanks again, truly inspirational, ALL OF YOU!! ✝️🇺🇸✝️😎

Jase makes a good point towards the end. I was a public HS teacher. My goal was that no student would fail my class. I would do everything I knew to get a student to understand the material to pass my classes. But there were those students that no matter how hard I worked with them, they have already in their mind decided they were going to fail! I did have a low failure rate but those students that wanted to fail drove me nuts. I can understand how God could be driven nut by the things people do or refuse to do! God bless your ministry!

I survived the plague of sand flea gnats on Parris Island S.C. Marine Corp. Boot camp. We called them flying teeth...Trust me when I say...they can eat. You cant kill one either. If you do you will get charged with the murder of a Parris Island sand flea by the Drill Instructor. The penalty is a trip to the sand pit...first to hold a funeral for the insect creature, bury it...Then you pay for murdering the thing in sweat...pain...and sand in your crawl for killing it. Been there done that. Everyone had red welps all over them...except the Drill Instructors they bathed in insect repellent...you could smell the repellent on them. The D.I.'s would say they bite us because they can sense our weakness. It was definitely an experience.

Jase, when you were talking about the young lady whom you made it a point to befriend, it reminded me of how some sow the seed of the Gospel, some water, and some reap the harvest. Although at that time she disregarded Christ, the seeds were planted; and you helped with that. I don't know if she has a relationship with Christ now, but the Holy Spirit still grow those seeds that were planted in her.

A few nights ago there was suddenly, at dark, a swarm of bugs hitting my windshield and very visible in my headlights for maybe a mile, and then swarming around the porch light and at least a hundred swarming on the ground by the front door. I couldn’t get in without bringing some in with me. They were on me and were long skinny red looking bugs. Outside under the porch light their wings looked white. I was hoping they weren’t termites. I think they were larger than that. They were dead in the house the next day. They came out suddenly and left suddenly, thank God. It was strange.

Couple things about pharaoh. 1 God did harden his heart, however that was only after he gave him 4 or 5 opportunities to let his people go. Pharaoh didn't want to believe that God was real with the first few plagues, so yes God gave him plenty of chances before he hardened his heart. 2. Do yall realize what the plagues where? God targeted the Egyptian gods, he was saying look how big and powerful I am compared to your gods. Egypt had a god with a frog head.. so God dropped frogs on them. They have a god of the Nile river so God turned it to blood. He targeted the other Egyptian gods to pretty neat.

Yep, I’m with Missy when she asked about any Spiders in here???? Nope! I couldn’t even bring myself to leave the truck if there is or has been a spider! I’d love to try anything once, but if there is any chance of a spider anywhere near me, I just can’t get past that creature!

It came to me, it was the "Cleaner Expo", in Tennessee, right???? thats the one I referred to anyway, they probably have them in more than one place. Never knew there was so much excitement, and septic, and sewer glee to be found, so close to home, huh???heh, heh, join the club. Backed up plumbing is what puts food on my table, so to speak. 😒🌺sorry, plumbers humor!
