God set in motion a plan to save humanity because He knows that people can and will be evil, Jesus is that that plan the sacrafice for the world, exceptance and believing in Jesus is the only way, believe , repent, confess, baptised then try , try to live it each day!! God is great!!

Ironically ( more like a God thing) this very topic that Phil started with was heavy on my mind today. And this morning I told a friend about Jesus being tempted by satan and him ruling the world. I said it appears satan does rule the world and he is winning. Thank you guys so much for reminding me, we win in the end and God never said being a Christian would be smooth sailing. I have never been stronger in my faith and I thank God for this podcast and you gents for having the fame to spread His word. What you are doing is awesome.

I love being in nature, I feel closer to God there. Been dreaming of an adventure where you could spend 40 days in the wilderness situation and experience being in his presence. It’s just that I know Jesus did and he was taught more than we will every know, and thought this would help us believes or even a nonbeliever hanging out learning. I know there are spiritual retreats worldwide wide but when you have no funds, it will always be wishful thoughts. Love the show, have watched them all.

Jase you have been a blessing sharing that testimony about fighting. You inspired me to write lyrics to a country song. I had my own fighting/violence testimonies. I hope can sing this song with your family. I believe your son is a musician maybe I can work together with him for your family. You ask them step outside. You ask them to step inside(Wonderful) Phil is a Bible Scholar all the history he dissected about empires that fell( Wonderful) Al is a great Moderator/Facilitator, balancing, guiding the discussion along and the Loyal Laugher when he hears the story between you and Phil(Wonderful)

Two of my favorite verses in the book of Matthew that are so powerful and foretelling. True Discipleship Matthew 16:21-28 21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, LORD!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns." 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. 28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." Jase is using numbers of people to try and support his view. However, Jesus said when He comes he will tell many depart from me I never knew you. This is people claiming Jesus... I attended a church for over a year that did these big events and concerts. This church had over 800 members. In that year I discovered few maybe 10 actually knew and followed God.

I'm not a religious person (yet!). But for years I could just feel things going sideways. It's been a long slide, but maybe it's time I start looking at the Bible. I feel like it's accelerating in this day and age with the advent of rapid communication.

Do it, bro. You'll never read a more fascinating book!!! Start with Matthew, then read John's Gospel, then read the rest of the New Testament. Then read Genesis and the Old Testament. It is all still relevant!! Much of the Bible shares ideas that repeat throughout all time, again and again. See yourself in Israel, the Jews, Christ...all of it. The Bible will teach you how to read deeply and relevantly.
