@@EnforcerX71 only problem is the competition today is way better than it was back then so unfortunately I don't think we will ever see that broken. I think mvg could have but far too many players now like Smith and Clayton who can hit 110 averages near enough so even 100 average doesn't get u win nowadays mostly and back then I mend taylor braking the record for 100 as it was un heard of so aye defo don't think it will never happen again neither will mvg's record for 75 pdc titles. Phil, mvg and Gary are the 3 players I think that are head and shoulders above the rest in there primes. Price is getting there but has to sort his mental side of the game imo. Its hard to say if his emotions do him good coz he won the world title the one year there was no crowd so maybe if he stopped playing the bad boy the crowd wouldn't be on his case so much. The match dart against Smith in the world's comes to mind when they boo'd him silly so after winning the it the year before with no crowd then maybe he plays better without the crowd on his back. Or at least less pressure with match dart but Just room for thought as I think price is rite up there but just seems to lose a couple here and there and I think it's his mental side that let's him down

Remember when Taylor used to play the BDO champs like Barney & Burnett and smash them up?

BDO champs in the 90s included Steve Beaton, Les Wallace, Richie Burnett... If that's not sub-standard then I don't know what is. A past it Bobby fucking George reached the first BDO final after the split. Does anyone really believe these fellas would have become world champions in a unified field that included Taylor, Priestley, Harrington etc? All three later tried the PDC and got nowhere.

@@flaviusconstantius9702 Les Wallace was ridiculously good for a 3 year spell then fell off a cliff. Richie Burnett as well was a great player for a time. They both could have easily won the PDC title playing at the level they did.
