The time period on this song is most interesting. . .released in 1970, the year the breakup of the Beatles became public. That is to say, this song is rather late in Little Richard's career, and, as such, it is most interesting to hear where he and his band were musically at that point. A real time capsule program!

When you're doing Little Richard, it's also fun to do another Little Richard song, followed by a Beatles cover on the song, which will have Paul McCartney doing his best Little Richard. I am going to suggest "Kansas City" first by Little Richard, and then the cover of the song by the Beatles.
