@@geraudtruel7189 It's not my place to speak about his personal experience with Insta360, I've made two videos with them over the years, and I've not been asked to hide that they were sponsored. The vast majority of my Insta360 videos have not been sponsored as I always find problems with their products! If I am ever asked to do something unethical, I will always turn them down flat; this has happened to me many times over the years, both on this and my @onemanfivecats channel.

Cheaper than $179? This is really designed for people who’re already got iOS devices. This is also a monitor, a Ninja is a dedicated recorder and much bigger and heavier. Is there even a 7” Ninja?

The record in the app saves to the camera roll. It does not trigger the camera’s recording.

@philipbloom thank you for your swift response.. so basically, you would have to press record on camera if you wish to record to camera as well? And may I ask you if the iPad displays camera settings on screen or just the live view only? Thanks 😊

Alter what camera settings? Monitor+ is good for camera control but the image is sub 720p and laggy.

Which camera are you using and are have you manually set your camera to HD for HDMI out?

The only way to get an HD recording is to feed it HD otherwise it will always record 4K.

@@philipbloom It was a Panasonic GH6, and you are correct about the way the Seemo records. I’m starting to remember now. You can not set the resolution in the Seemo app. I set the camera to HD and recorded in app, and then 4K and recorder in app. And the recording looked very similar to me. Which is why I thought the hd might be downsampled.

@@philipbloom I checked again and I have recordings in UHD and HD from the Seemo 4k. All the files were renamed Accsoon by the Seemo app.

Have you used that app? That’s for camera control. It’s a terrible monitoring tool. Low resolution, breaks up all the time and lag.

This is a monitor first and foremost. Think of like that.

I do feel I’ve explained the SeeMo 4K very clearly in this video. It’s a super night quality monitor for iOS which does other things like I show, including recording low bit rate version for quick turnaround. I stated the bit rate of 20mbps, which is around a 1/10th or in camera quality. It’s not really for proxies either as the names won’t match. The Ninja phone IS a recorder primarily but seems like an odd product as it’s 1080p max. It’s also more than twice the price. So what the point of these 1080p ProRes files on your phone? I am not sure. Proxy workflow perhaps? Quick turnaround for sure. I don’t understand the product. If it used the phone as a screen but could record to say CFexpress B in ProRes 4K in the actual ninja part that would be an interesting product. The problem is the Ninja V isn’t about £200 more than the Ninja phone and records to SSD in up to 4K ProRe raw with a very good and bright HDR screen.

Please stop thinking of the SeeMo 4K as a recorder. It’s not. It can record but recorders are used to replace or being alongside internal recordings. The SeeMo 4k is what I’ve said in my replies and in this video.

What do you mean by “why isn’t anyone”? I’ve seen it mentioned in videos on the new cameras. Are you expecting dedicated videos about? Does anyone even have the cameras yet?

It’s pretty hard to make because of all the different hardware.

For lightning there has to be. Not for usb-c.

The SeeMo 4K is NOT a recorder, I made that VERY clear in this video. It records 4K onto the phone for quick turnaround edits, this is a 4K MONITOR. The Ninja things is more than twice price and turns your iOS device into a 1080p ProRes recorder. Erm…great. What’s the point? If you need a recorder get the Ninja V, you can pick one up for not much more than the phone Ninja. “Especially version 2” 😂😂😂😂😂😂

No, it’s not a wireless transmitter. You should get the CineEye 2 and put that on your camera then you can send to 4 devices at the same time. It’s a different app, it’s the GO app.

They actually now also have the Cineview Nano, which looks more like the Seemo range, uses the same See app and just needs the HDMI connection as the iPhone connects over Wi-Fi instead of USB-C + even cheaper if recording not required … although latency might be too high for focus, etc.

@@27Righty latency is very good on it. About the same as a standard monitor.

@@philipbloom Do you mean on the Cineview Nano? I was considering the Seemo 4K as a monitor - I don’t really need streaming or recording, however assumed the latency would be lower with the USB connection.

@@27Rightythe latency is less on the SeeMo, a better image and other benefits as shown here. Nano has ability to transit to 4 devices and is cheaper.

Nope. The image quality is very poor, especially compared with this. Look at the quality of the image on the screen in this video!
