If they can't do enough short term to challenge Celtic, but have a vision and a plan and want to ask fans to back that. Let's hear it. The problem at the moment is there doesn't seem to be clear leadership, vision or direction. If they came out and said we have a vision, of putting together a young team that will grow and learn together, that have quality and promise and lots of potential and we don't have the funds we traditionally had in the past, but they are looking to grow financial might from player trading and building us up that way. I would fully back that play. They of course would do all they can to secure a title challenge and go for the title, every season but it may take 2 or 3 years to really bare fruit them fine. If they would need fans to roar on a new generation Rangers team, I would love that. I would back that. It would be new, exciting and the players may even surprise us and get is success quicker. It would also settle pressure over the manager situation constantly. If we don't have the money to do the things we need to improve the team, then a new approach is required and fans, real fabs will back that. We need somwthing radical and different. As what we have been doing hasn't worked. Just give us a vision and some clarity. What I can't back is doing the same crappy things and sticking by the same tired old faces and not moving forward.

While I agree with some of what you say, our ability to buy in players is down to the board and finances available. Its not down to Clement. Either way its not likely to be an issue for long as he is likely to be gone and we will still be in the same position under new management.

The formation and style of play is not a jot different to Beales from what I see. One up top, double pivot etc. The only minor difference is that the wingers go wide at times and hit the byline sometimes vs the inverted wingers used by Beale. I thought we were getting a different football philosophy and something a lot more attack minded. Still it is early days and maybe after preseason we will see what Clements style of football is and recognise a real change, when the real games start.

@beegnutz I will really miss watching the team for a period and it kills me to say or do that, but I cannot bring myself to watch the same movie over and over and over, and the anger and resentment it is causing isn't healthy either or good for anyone. So I will just withdraw for a bit, which I never thought I would ever say or do in over 40 years a fan of this great club.

@glasgowG53 We are going g nowhere if we keep and play the same tired serial losers. If we get them moved on then, it brings freshness, renewed hope, energy and anything can happen. ​​I am not behind another year of Tav and Goldson. I am out until the day they leave if they are here. If we are totally broke, as it's starting to sound. Then I would rather back Clement and let him build a team with some youths over a few seasons and get behind a spirited, plucky young side with a couple of choice pros than stick with the guff we have been getting. At least we might see some progress and guys not scared to get tore in and have a go. Eventually they could build on experience to a point they can overcome Celtic and be a good side. I would rather back something fresh and a new generation, than the same faces that look beaten before they even take to the field. I need something new to renew optimism and energy for the season ahead and for me Tav and Goldson are not it.

I think so, if you read between the lines of him saying that his expectations were different in October when he took the job. That sounds like he was told one thing and the reality has been another. If someone feels messed about, you run the risk of them leaving. He may start to feel like why should he burn his reputation, with the shambles going on here. It looks like we are totally broke. Unless he gets a fee or two for someone he is getting nothing.
