I'm so happy to see a 50+ woman so confident and lively. My whole life it was drilled in my head that when your 20s are over, you're whole life is going downhill. We need more older characters on screen who are not miserable in life and still enjoying it! A role model for sure

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie) is gorgeous! I waited patiently for her scenes and every outfit she wore in this season. Including the bikini scene last season. She carries her body with confidence and that energy translates in what she wears. Being on the other side of 40 I hope to be half as charming as her. Such an icon!

Not sure if it's just me, but I feel like if this was an American celebrity being interviewd, we'd hear a lot of "it's amazing" and the whole interview would have much less depth. Love how Philippine really goes in details about her character, her outfit, the series, etc, just with this 5 min video. Merci Vogue France!

What you call "too serious" is the character of some French women (I'm French). Even more, it's very "parisian"!! The parisian wonder women very sophisticated and still as this French authenticity, simplicity. It's cultural. Hard to explain ^^ they really portrayed the difference BTW American and French culture. That's what I see with my own eyes. When I hear her, she jokes around, talk naturaly, stay professional for vogue and for having seen her in others series and movies I think it's her personnality.

I read that they thought Philippine was ‘too old’ for the role of Sylvie…what rubbish. The role required a mature woman with style and panache to be convincing. Her character wears the fashion pieces so stylishly…and this premiere gown is simple and perfectly nuanced. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ
