Philippine Marines hold counter-landing drills as part of the Marine Aviation Support Activity 2024 on Saturday, June 15. With their US counterparts as observers, Marines from the Field Artillery Battalion sink targets off the waters of Burgos, Ilocos Norte facing Taiwan.

Kailangan ng marines ng maraming brahmos ,towed artillery.. sea drones katulad ng gamit ng Ukraine ..

Kailangan nila ng self propelled howitzer, MBT, mobile land spike nlos o javelin, land base anti ship missiles, short range air defense. Ang dami tlga kung ng mga marines natin.

Marines doesn't need MBTs and Self propelled howitzers, those equipment are mostly and should be for the Philippine Army.

Bale wala yan if the missiels are coming towards those defenses armaments stationed there dapat marame tayong spyder air defense or kahit iron dome and lots of brahmos that's all we need anti airdefense air to air missiles and bunch of brahmos di naten kaylangan tapatan yung bilang ng ships and airforce nila what we need is the amount of weapons to intercept and neutralize to atleast decrease the opponent's fraction

Modern warfare na Ngayon , the marines need lots of drones , kamikaze drones to engage incoming sea invasion. Secondary na lang Yan artillery. Invest more in drones, cheap and effective in Ukraine Russian war.

The Marines must multiply their capabilities by acquiring tousands of these howitzers through a licensing scheme to manufacture and improvize. It can be easily eliminated by vtol drones and conventional ones. Existing technology such as the COBRA weapons systems must be used in air defense (scaled) and remote controlled mini scout vehicles (using starlink). Conventional warfare cannot be applied to new threats. The Philippines must fastrack its coastal defense capabilities through indigenous means as well.

I hope the AFP realize that the invading armies will be protected by naval artillery fire, missiles, and air cover. The defending troops should be protected by anti-air / missile defenses otherwise, our troops will be wiped out.

The Browning M2, that even the US is using, is a WW2 era Machine gun. Even our Sabrah Light tanks are using 105 mm shells. If you have no knowledge about Military weapons and tactics, better shut up.

As long as our troops are training, even with "museum piece" equipment, they can still be effective in combat.

Don't underestimate the old model. During the side by side results. It is as effective as the new ones. The only difference is the automated reloading for the new ones.
