Mas masarap mamuhay dati. Kasi hindi mo nababalitaan yung mga nangyayari sa buong pilipinas. Less stress yun. Pangalawa hindi mo na kailangan ng pera para makakain dahil mga tanim sa bahay lang ang pinagkukuhanan ng pagkain. Malalawak ang mga pananim, sariwa ang hangin, punong puno ng mga halaman at puno. Na kahit maliit na bagay kayang e appreciate ng mga tao noon. Walang masyadong luho. Kontento kung anong meron sila. Kalesa ang kadalasang ginagamit na sasakyan na malayo sa aksidente. Walang polusyon. Hindi sementado ang lupa. Ako millenial ako. Pero ang puso ko nasa oldies na talaga. Nagiging masaya ako kapag nakakakita ang ng maraming halaman, kubo, at malawak na lupain. Kaya kapag nagkasariling bahay ako maliit lang tapos may kubo sa gilid na maraming halaman.

Ganun talaga nagbabago lahat ng bagay... early 80's nangnapunta ako ng maynila ang mura pa bilihin..sa sm makakabili ka pa ng tig 20 pesos na blouse tapos yung sapatos na paresian makakabili ka ng tig 50 pesos...kaya lang ang minimum wage noon 60 pesos palang ..

Cebu was like a sleepy little Spanish town. So old looking unlike the new town of Baguio made by the Americans. 80 years later Cebu would flourish with it’s beautiful skyline and modern cityscape and Baguio is a maze of traffic jam from one hill to another with no clear building regulations.

At 1:48, that is where the unpresedented cuttings of pine trees in my beloved Baguio started, wherein it was replaced by the obiquitous housings, subdivisions and commercial establishments, how pity it seems greed is on top of local leaders agenda...

I don't care but Manila one day should replicate what the city used to look like in this video somewhere in manila. Obviosuly modernization looks like the more logical use for now, but for my opinion there needs t obe an old city in Manila. I know Intramuros counts as an old city but they literally have POS ugly modern buildings and no offense to residents there, but squatters. I know there are other issues the country must face, but I believe this history was the crown jewel of our country even with the negatvies of colonization. Like how christinaity is a good that came from Spanish rule, Manila, Cebu, other cities, etc could've been the Phillipines own prized possession they obtained. It is dissapointing these leaders ruined what we had. I wish filipinos went to cities in Europe like in Spain. You will see why preserving history for my opinion is very important and should be something that is preserved as best as possible. This city should've saved this years ago. They haven't made Manila great since. I like BGC and Makati now but that isn't even in Old Manila anyway. I can't dtetermine how these people will build Manila nd other cities in the country but I just hope we see some glimpse of this old Manila even if it is years late. I believe it deserves to be rebuilt like ancient Rome and Greece could be rebuilt. It is more for pride as well for my opinion. The country deserves to be more than a thirld world country and have bad cities.
