I just cried, working here in Guam for about 7 years not seeing my mom while watching this video reminds me of her hardships and sacrifices. An illiterate (without mocking my mom, she actually sacrificed her education for the sake of her 10 younger siblings), a battered wife, forcibly divorced by my father, makes me cry at this moment. As a filial son, it is my greatest honor to ease her burden and give her a comfortable life. Good luck, Ms. Tracy, the whole Philippines supports you! I come from a broken family, my father left us when I was in elementary, we are eight in the Family. It's been 17 years since the day he left, my mother has endured all. She's done everything to provide our needs. I know I couldn't speak more in behalf of my single mother than Tracy. This is a true meaning of women empowerment. Our single mothers need to be heard. This would really bring a huge impact to the society. I'm hoping she'd win, I know that she speaks from the heart. At least, if she'd win, those mothers will be able to find means on how to support their children through Tracy's BWAP. And no children would encounter skipping lunch at school just like I did.
