5.1 Speaker system (Like sony HT-RT3) or these type of soundbars with woofer, which one is better? Is 5.1 speakers provide good surrounding effects or these type of soundbars are enough to provide that much of sounds?

If you are in small room soundbar with woofer is enough otherwise 5.1 separate speakers are best. Because it covers more area and fill the sound almost every area of room.

I own a ht rt3 for around 5 yrs and I just bought this Dolby atmos Philips couple of days ago, if you want good surround experience go with sony eyes closed but trust me Philips does not behave like an Atmos speaker out of the box it's more of a 3.1 soundbar with exceptionally good stereo effect and really strong bass far better than any sony in this price range, under 25k. the sound quality strictly depends on the source in Philips, it only excels if you play it through HDMI arc, Bluetooth output is not as strong, on the other hand, sony can upscale songs and the surround effects even presence in Bluetooth connection

ya i think this will suit you. mine is 16x10. max volume i can keep is 8-9. it can go upto 25. if I cross 10, everything in my house vibrates

Bro I have Mi tv 55 inch everytime I play anything from hotstar it plays only as PCM audio 2.0 but in prime it plays Dolby Audio 5.1 so center channel works properly. How to fix this? Is it issue with philips soundbar or hotstar app?

You won't get Dolby Atmos effect via Optical input. You need to play via HDMI-ARC.
