Hello need help with my newly purchased philips sterilizer, when ill try auto/sterilize it will just heat the plate for a couple of seconds then the indicator light will flash continously, what can i do to fix this?

Yes you do prior to putting them into the sterilizer.

I do not understand these dials - please explain to me what each one does

The left side dial is sterilizer only ,the right is for drying and the center is automatic sterilizee and drying if you choose the automatic dial it will automatocaly turn on the sterilizer and drying process and automatically turn off after 40mins
