There isn’t a razor out there for kinky hair! There I said it. As a woman with 4C hair, I can say this! Although I am not bald I do shave my nape and just have to use a hair trimmer or else I’d have razor bumps.

As a bald woman, I just discovered the freebird razor which is 5 blades and makes my head feel delicious. Definitely have to use it wet though.

We're in the same youtubeblack grad class my guy 💪🏽 I gotta agree with you 1000% on both of the items you reviewed. First thing is no Rotary Shaver will ever do as good as an actual Razor. When it comes to disposable razors my go to is the exact same one as you aha but still, Safety razors are even better! My channel is mostly grooming videos, I've tested damn near everything.

Such shavers may not be good for people with extremely curly hair. I am White, and I use two of those at a time... Much faster. But my hairs are straight. Also, it takes time for skin to adapt to the new machine. My skin remained sensitive for a while, but that dwindled to nothing after a short time.

Thanks for the Norelco review/demo. I actually think it will be perfect for my deeply melanated husband. He needs to go bald but he is holding on by having his barber to cut low to the scalp so the crown thinning isn't so obvious. One of his concerns is that his scalp is lighter than his face. I think this low cut will allow his scalp to tan while transitioning to baldness.😊

I had the same issue and the sun worked for me also. I got as much sun as possible on my head and the skin eventually toned the same as my face but it took me two years because the sun is not frequent where I live. So when ever the sun came out apart from summer time, I was outside getting them rays. Let go the caps if he wears those and by the time comes for him to let it all go, unless he looks good with a jefferson, he can shave it all and don't have to worry about the tone.

I have The Philips as well, i think a slightly more premium version but essentially the same thing, and it works great IF YOU SHAVE DAILY, it hardly works on anything longer than a millimeter, but is great on everything much shorter than that

I used to use the Wahl Finale or Andis Pro Foil ( can't remember which one as they look similar ) but had to stop because it gave me ingrown hair, even when I used it with the grain. All I use now is Gillette Skin Guard. It's just a sturdy classic razor I use in the shower. Dry shaves gives me rashes.

Hello Family, For anybody who struggles with razor bumps, I strongly recommend B&C Skin Tight Razor Ointment. I began to get razor bumps when I was getting a bald fade a year ago and my barber recommended me this product and it works miracles really have not had a problem ever since then.

Do u ever put a little tea tree oil on ur head? It helps to keep pores clear….it helped with my ingrown hairs in my legs. On my shave day i put a few drops of tea tree oil in the oil i use to moisturize after shaving.

As a professional barber, get some andis trimmers, and some pro andis foil shavers and you’ll be good for the rest of your life

My father would buy these and eventually I’d hear him complain about them, I’m not sure if the quality declined because he used these all throughout my childhood. I was hoping the title was clickbait and there was an updated version so that I could grab it as a gift but I guess not 😩

The quality of the Norelco cut has declined a lot in the last few decades. Even a brand new replacement blade, it couldn't give a decent shave. I'm still looking. There used to be a good Seiko from a long time ago, but I haven't found anything like it either.

An ex boyfriend left his Schick Hydro 5 razor in my bathroom. I felt the weight of that bad boy and realized women razors could never! I sanitized that baby and got to work on my legs and underarms. Talmboubt smoooth as a button! I never looked back at my dainty razor ever again 🪒🚮

My grandma has been using a 1990s norelco for decades. He is a white man who also doesn't really have high standards though, but who knows, maybe the quality also got worse.
