Philistine DNA and 4000-year old gate in Tel Ashkelon

Күн бұрынIn this final episode of the Philistine cities, we go to Tel Ashkelon where scientists performed a DNA test on the bones from recently excavated Philistine cemetery. The results helped solve an ongoing debate of Philistine origins. In this video, we also go to walk inside the world’s oldest arched gate, which is believed to had been built the Caananites in 1850 BC.

Wow! I'm so blessed to see the history of the Bible into reality. I remember when I was a kid,during Sunday School I dream that someday I could visit and explore the places mentioned in the Bible.. until now that is my greatest desire and I pray to God that before I die, God will grant my desire. My wife and I did a group tour and we waited until we were retired to do it. The nice thing about a group tour is making so many life long friends, seeing so many places in such a short period of time and now we have a very good idea on what we want to do in our next trip. I sat outside the Tel Dan gate in February this year and as I relate to Abraham and his obedience to God's requests of him, I really loved being there.

I kept seeing 'Superior Word' in the beginning of some of your videos. I thought it might be a store but after looking it up, I realized it is a church who's Pastor is your friend from some of your videos. I have bookmarked the church's page and am excited to watch some sermons and bible studies. Thanks for opening the world of the biblical homeland to me in your videos and now opening the church site to my attention. No. Earthquakes are caused by plate tectonics and winds by barometric pressure imbalances. So at best your God is a non evident God. There's nothing awesome about it.
