I almost cried with Elijah when he found out he couldn't play anymore this season. I hope he's not in too much pain and heals quickly. 💜

Broke my toe two days before I had knee surgery. My doctor said it was broken, the radiologist said it wasn't but I know he had to be wrong. They didn't stabilize it and my toe is no longer straight. The pain was awful, Elijah is really strong! Even when baseball is over he can practice his stance and batting so he will be the star next Spring. Hang in there Elijah!!

I know how Elijah feels I broke my foot I September 8th at work with a piano and I’m recovering from surgery and how to get another surgery to remove the metal plates and pin in my foot. So speedy recovery!!

When my daughter use to play softball, her thumb got hit by a pitch and she fractured the growth plate in her thumb. It was the first practice of the season. She was out for 6 weeks. She was so disappointed. Elijah will be a great assistant coach! Hope your toe doesn't cause you too much pain Elijah.

Hang in there Elijah. I broke my collarbone beginning of February and I’m still recovering. You will be all healed well before mine will. Time will fly :)

Keep your head up, Elijah! You'll make it through. I slipped in something wet someone spilled at a store on Sept 29th and broke my ankle. The ER splinted it and it took 9 days for me to get into the Orthopedic doctor. So I feel how bummed you are. But after I got to the doc they gave me some better stabilizing and I can walk again with a boot. I'm not letting it keep me down, still going on a trip we planned, I will just hobble my way all over! It's a long road, but you can do it and next season you'll feel just as strong! You got this.

Oh Elijah I feel for you! This past January I broke the first bone in my left foot when I was flown off a bike while vacationing in San Diego (on the first day of vacation). Unfortunately us healthcare providers are bad patients and I hobbled around on it for 9 days before getting my walking cast so I spent 9 weeks in the walking cast instead of 6 due to poor healing😭. Don’t make my same mistake! Next year you will be amazing at baseball

When I was in high school, I broke my toe and they gave me a boot, so I didn’t have to use crutches. It made life a little easier for me.

Poor Lil Man!! My youngest daughter while getting off the bus tripped between the last step and the in between before the concrete curve. Fell flat on the concrete. Broke her nose. She was in kindergarten. Then when my son was like 6 broke his wrist while riding his bike. 2 weeks later he needed his appendix out.. What a life. Happy birthday Danny

I’m so sorry, Elijah. I feel your pain. I fractured my big toe a few years ago while coming down the stairs. I missed a step and landed right on it. Unfortunately for me, I was so scared to move it too much that it has now healed in a way that I cannot bend it. The doctor said that I should have tried bending it during the healing process. If only they had told me that. So, just a little tip for you. 🙂

Watching Elijah try not to cry made my heart hurt. Praying for him. All my bones were broken and fixed by doctors to keep me walking due to my cerebral palsy. And lots of pain and months of down time to recover. Happy Birthday Danny have a fun time with family.

Hang in there Elijah! I broke my ankle about 10 years ago, I was in a hard cast for about 8 weeks plus several months physical therapy. I’ve also had more than enough surgeries for other health issues. Hang in there!

I fractured my right ankle. I was off work for 6 weeks and I couldn't drive with a cast up to my knee . Thank God for my brother he took good care of me. Take care of yourself Elijah.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

While you're waiting for the ortho, put a thin layer of cotton between the big toe and the one next to it. Wrap those two toes together. It's called buddy taping. It'll help hold it steady and the covers in the bed won't bother it so much. I have broken a few toes and that's what the dr. did for me.

Aww oh no SO sorry Elijah Praying for fast healing. WOW it took forever to be seen at the dr. I always try and schedule an app online at the Urgent Care so were not there too long. I've broken fingers, toes, wrist, nose, split my forehead open twice and my chin...my Mom called me "the accident waiting to happen". I Love the care package you put together for Braden and so sweet of you to send something for his companion. Ouch. Elijah's toe. I hope he feels better. He's such a brave guy. I don't do well in pain, but ellijah is soo brave on camera after his pain. He's sooo brave after the fact that he woulnt play baseball. But thats a really long wait at the urgent care. My urgent care near me is just in and out.

I’ve broken my pinky toe so many times I’ve lost count. I walk like a duck so I’m always bumping into everything. The only thing to be done is soaking in epsom salt and bandaging it. I love Braden’s Halloween box! ❤️❤️❤️
