Jase and Al recall Godwin’s uncertainty about his shirtless “Duck Dynasty” scenes and praise Godwin for his depth of character and love for Jesus. Phil’s father apparently had a silly habit during prayer time that has become part of Al’s vernacular, and the guys discuss the importance of not making people who disagree with you your enemy. Zach points out that every age has its own dilemmas, and Al poses the question of “Will your cause be enough to satisfy and save you in the end?”
In this episode: Acts 18; Acts 19; 1 John 4, verses 13-16; Romans 12, verses 1-2, 14

The reason someone would run up to you like that to be baptized Phil. You have touched so many people's lives by your faith. Also the love for your family. When you show this to people it reminds them of what they are lacking in their lives. That's the reason. You are a true voice of God. People listen to you. I had someone in my life similar to you. He changed his address. Went to be with our Savior. My wife's grandfather. Great godly man. Very kind soul. Never a curse word. I never seen him get mad . I knew him approximately 15 years. I loved him like my grandfather, Dad. He was truly a good person. 🙏

Clint Eastwood and 10 Mysterious Facts About The Outlaw Josey Wales : 1- Filming for the Outlaw Josey Wales began in the late autumn. Eastwood’s favorite time of the year to shoot Westerns. Pale Rider (1985) and Unforgiven (1992) were also shot in the fall. He felt the dying leaves and cool weather offered the best background for his somber style of Western. 2- Clint’s 6 year old son Kyle plays Josey’s son in the opening scene. 3 . The story was filmed in Utah, Arizona, and California over an 8 1/2 week time period. 4- According to legend, this movie is based on the life of Thomas Atticus Hawkins, a Missouri farmer from Maries County. 5- Josey has a body count of 55 in this film. It’s Eastwood’s second highest body count in any of his movies. The highest is in Where Eagles Dare (1968). 6- The Indian village in the film was built in Utah. The Natives in the movie are played much less stereotypical than in many other Westerns of the day. It’s often spoken of favorably by Native tribes for not going with the cliches that most other Westerns followed. 7- Actor Matt Clark plays the bartender who serves Josey in Santa Rio. He also played the bartender who served Marty McFly in Back to the Future III. If you remember, Marty went by the name “Clint Eastwood”. 8- Chief Dan George was 76 during filming. Clint had seen him in only one movie but claims he had a “great face”. George had trouble remembering his lines so Clint would tell him the lines and instead of having him repeat the lines on film, George would just naturally tell the story as he would to a friend. It ended up working brilliantly. 9- Eastwood took over as director after 10 days of shooting. He still finished the film 8 days early. 10- This was the first of six movies made by real-life couple Clint Eastwood and Sondra Locke. Rumor was that Eastwood took over the director’s chair after a dispute with the original director (Phillip Kaufman) when the two of them had asked Locke out on a date on the same night. No matter the reason, Eastwood would eventually finish the film as director and he and Locke would become an item for over a decade.

Thank you for your thoughts on being baptized again. As a church ritual, I was baptized as a baby. My family life was not good and not a Christian home. As an adult, I want to be baptized. One minister refused, stating I had already been baptized and no one needed a second baptism. Thankfully, I spoke with another minister when we moved, and he understood and graciously baptized me. I felt renewed and thankful.

I can tell you exactly what would happen if you hit that cop. My son was hit by a cop seven years ago blowing a red light. Well my sons was green and in the middle of the intersection the cop hit my son’s work van so hard that it spend it around twice and run it into a pole on the corner. His van was totaled. He got hurt and they got a lawyer and they still haven’t gone to court. So that was 2017 in January and then it was Covid so they couldn’t have court and then they couldn’t find a judge. I mean it’s been one thing after another. His passenger which Was his helper settled for $10,000 and I think my son should’ve done that instead of go for socking it to the city. The cop lied and said that my son ran a red light, but the person behind him worked with a good friend of ours, and said no it was green, and we both went through.

12:27 Zach, if you see this, this is what I would like for y’all to address. I’m just curious what your take is and your cousins and uncle too for that matter on this subject. In your educated opinion, why was Jesus so distraught in the garden? I know He’s 100% God and 100% man. It’s just unclear to me in some ways why Jesus was so anguished. My husband is a seminary trained minister. He has one way to think about it and I think maybe because I’m a female, I have another way to think about it. I think I might be wrong. Your thoughts?
@jewelssylva3738

For so many reasons. Jesus is a complex person much like we are. He prayed for the Father to solve it any other way that didn't require him to go to the cross. As far as I know that is the only prayer that Jesus prayed that the father refused him. It wasn't a joyful task, for Christ to pay the price for all of us, he had to go to be sacrificed willingly. Talk about informed consent; he knew what a painful gruesome slow death he was going to suffer ... I think that is the central answer to your excellent question.
@ellamarie9709
@ellamarie9709 Ай бұрын
@@jewelssylva3738 you see, that has always been my take on it too. My husband believes it’s because Jesus knew God was going to have to turn His back on Him when the sins of the world was upon Him while He was on the cross. He had never been separated from His Father before and He wanted to see if there was any other way His will could be accomplished without having to be separated from Him. I’d just like to hear what Zach and the Robertson’s think about it. In the end, it really doesn’t matter. I’m so thankful Jesus obeyed His Father and became a living and final sacrifice for our sins. God bless!

@@ellamarie9709 Both are true, He knew what He would go through before & on the cross & who wouldn't pray to have that cup removed so we wouldn't have to go through the torture & pain & the agony of our sins put on Him & to have His father turn His back had to be equally heartbreaking!!

@@ellamarie9709 PRAYER REQUEST!! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 BEAVER, Utah - We're asking you to join the massive prayer effort for 3 year old Levi Wright, Kallie and Spencer Wright and everybody who knows and loves them. Yesterday afternoon, young Levi was riding his toy tractor, got too near the creek and the swift water took him. A massive community search effort was launched and found him unconscious. Life flighted to the hospital, the initial diagnosis was grim, Levi had been without oxygen for too long - Kallie and Spencer were holding him and getting prepared for the worst then the hospital shift change brought a new doctor to the sweet little boy's side. "Please don't give up on our boy yet. We switched staff this morning and his doctor was a little taken back by her exam when they came in the room to end care. She felt strongly that they needed to give him more time," Kallie Wright said. "Now, this doesn't mean that in 12 hours we won't be right back in this same position with Levi in my arms preparing for goodbye, but it does mean we have time for a miracle." "Please pray the hardest you ever have, I beg of you. However this ends, it will be the Lord's will." - Kallie Wright

I am very young in my faith walk and I’m curious if anyone could answer my question: Is dipping snuff a sin? I have tried to cut all bad habits out of my life (alcohol, etc.) to be a better follower of Jesus and set a better example. I’ve been feeling good about it but then someone looked at me and said “but you still dip?” I’m from SW Virginia and we literally all dip. Christian or not. I have dipped since my early teens and never thought it was worse for you than having a Coca Cola. I have tried to look it up but all the answers online are all over the spectrum. Can someone answer this for me? Or better yet the men that do this podcast? Thanks.

Apollos was seeking to understand more of God. Like Apollos, I only know what I know. I know spiritual things that I didn't know in my 30's. Which makes me more patient with people who don't know what I know now. I'll share, I'll pray, & I'll trust them to God. I can trust God to direct me spiritually so I can trust him to direct each of his believing followers. Seek the Lord with all your heart. I don't know how he changes us into new creatures. I only know that he does. Precept upon precept, line upon line. That process will continue until we pass on.

Everybody read Mark 10. 18 and 19. 17.. I have a hard time saying Jesus is God when in the bible in many places say that he isn't so that being said what should I believe? Pastor or Bible. Plus if Jesus is God he has to be all knowing and if he doesn't know the hour and only God knows that is a contradiction.. help me with this please.
