So great to hear the boys back in FULL FORCE. Playing on par with 96' and 97' era. Beautiful interplay - Trey back to NASTY shredding. So nice to have Trey back - he was so conservative upon their return in 2009, taking in the stage and everything for the first time being sober.

Have to disagree, Robert Palmer was very good, but played a 3 min version of the song. Phish takes the tune and runs with it in a creative jam. That’s what makes Phish famous

this band is so obviously the best touring act out there today. people who 'knowledgeably' down-talk them are blocked creatives that need to pick up their guitar and sing five songs *stat* OR SIMILAR

no doubt these guys are dope as fuck, but I think DMB edges them out when it comes to dynamics during live performances. it's kind of hard to compete when Carter Beauford is on the drums, imo. not hating my any means, just feel there could be a little more build during the jams.

I like Dave M's songwriting a lot, and saw the band live only once, I still like phish's content better but glad you have found something you like a lot as well! music is great fun

No doubt a phantastic Sneakin' with a killer vocal jam. The Blossum Sneakin' from 6.4.11 was pretty sweet. I don't think the vocal jam compares well to 1.1.11, but that "dance floor porn plinko jam" certainly has evolved into something very pleasing. At the end of the day it was MSG on 1.1.11, so I don't think I can compare the two. But, if you didn't hear the Blossum show do your ears a favor.

I don't hate phish. I respect their musicianship. as a spreadhead, I find Panic has more soul, and the spirit roaming the lot scene at panic is kinder than a phish show...but that's just me.
