Lovely video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Riddleagan Made Masterpiece Remedy (do a search on google)? It is a great exclusive guide for learning professional photo editing minus the headache. Ive used Photoshop for a number of years, but usually avoid the pen tool as all the previous tutorials and books don't really give a clear instruction. Just in the space of this short tutorial , I now fully grasp the pen tool and it will now be my go-to for complex selections. Great work, thank you.

This is a really great channel. There have been too many incidents where KZfaq prioritizes content that does not give back to the community. Your channel should have way more subscribers, Aaron. I've been using Photoshop for nearly 14 years and I've *never* been able to get my head around the pen tool; it has always frustrated me immensely when it wanted to curve and I didn't want it to! Dude, i have struggled with the pen tool for years, i would stare at it and think oh no, then go back to the eraser tool. I watched loads of tutorials but none explained it better then yours. I was immediately able to cut out some very complex shapes. I can not thank you enough. Cheers!

Neat vid. You make it look super easy. I wish I really could become good in just 8 mins but I think it really takes a few hours of practice to make the pen tool one of the first options for 'togs' rather than illustrators or graphic artists. Still I'm inspired and practice when I can as I'm sold on it's inherent capability.

Aaron Just been having a play with this Tutorial in CC 2018 and under the Pen Tool found 6 additional options including the Freeform and Curvature Tools I personally found those easier to use than the straight pen tool for editing paths Could you do a tutorial on those for the beginners amongst us
