Truly mind numbing the stuff that happens to this team. Gauthier crap, Patrick head injuries, Lindblom cancer diagnosis, Hart charges & now Kolosov all in the last 5-6 years.

It's just so beyond infuriating it's always the Flyers. First Gauthier out of nowhere now Kolosov except he actually signed.

Honestly, if he wants to go back he can. They have Bjarnason and Zavragin in the pipeline like yall mentioned and they are both highly touted goaltending prospects. If he’s griping about playing time in the minors he has to understand a lot of guys like Boucher, Cechmanek, and Niittymäki all started there before getting called up. That being said, I think people need to give Ersson more of a chance. I feel people are writing him off when he carried the team on his back most of last season. Plus Fedotov with more time here will get him into a good groove. He can honestly be a good 1A option if not better and surprise people.

It's amazing how in the span of one year goaltending went from looking great to looking terrible. But I guess we should have expected that to happen since this is the flyers.

This is a big concern. Another top prospect chiding not to play in Philly What and how will this affect the other Russian goalie prospect who is their best goalie prospect ? He shares the same agent as kolosov !!

Flahr's Freudian slip is a bad sign - not showing up for Dev Camp is even worse sign. I get the feeling we won't ever see Kolosov in the O&B. That sucks. Fedotov is almost 28 and Ersson, who I really like, has struggled beyond 30 -35 games.

Good move on Kolosov, Why play 2 games as a backup in the AHL if you know you have NHL talent.

My hope is he was home sick & at some point he asks himself is it bad enough to throw away his NHL dream. Only 22 so loaning him for 1 more yr isn't the end of the world.

Right and the thing is if it’s not going to work they still have two highly touted prospects that could be in the NHL as star goaltenders. Either way it’s a not the end of the world like you said, we’ll be fine.

I hope cal Peterson gets called we need to suck and suck badly we need top 5 or 10 picks to build. They need to do a full on rebuild. If they don’t they’ll build another team that can maybe make it to the finals but isn’t going to win a cup.

Ppl wanna blame Briere but wtf is he supposed to do. If he's home sick/wants to stay home what's he gonna do? Tell him he isn't home sick & all of sudden Kolosov be like ya, alright good with me!

As someone who watches the KHL on a regular basis. I believe it was a mistake bringing Fedotov over and handing him the #2 spot. IMO Kolosov is going to be a top NHL goalie in a few years. They should make it clear that Kolosov would be the #2 guy for now. Because, I think he wants to go somewhere were he has that assurance. I could be wrong - but, watching the guy on a mediocre, at best team and being by far the best player on the team - I think he realizes his value.
