i don't know why but american apcr seems to works way better than other nations apcr, when was grinding m48 and m56 scorpion, i was able to kill some people somewhat reliably, and not just getting assist all day, don't get me wrong, it's still bad but it perform better than other apcr

5:20 - you probably would've got away with that arc shot, except you got the debris right in front of you with the laser rangefinder, so your gun was zeroed to hit it. Note the "distance 24" in the sight.

best thing about war thunder now is that finnish operated tanks have finnish crew. i wasn't expecting them to talk finnish and couldn't believe that until i listened more closer, good job, gaijin, i missed finnish crew in finnish tanks. does other tanks have their own operating country's language?

I actually think the M60A2 is one of my favorite tanks in warthunder. It’s got great turret armor, a laser rangefinder, a great ammo selection, fully stabilized and decently mobile. Having the factors I mentioned before the good armor layout, missiles, high caliber HEAT/HE, LRF and the stabilization is fantastic at 8.3

On the other hand the you have the Sheridan which is this but worse, it has worse armor, no LRF, the only positive thing is the speed and my opinion the look. Too bad the missile changes made this tank really bad

@@ianm7192 to be fair though having a barrel fired ATGM still makes the missile better and easier to use than the TOW missiles. The missile the M60A2 and the Sheridan have can also be used point blank with no loss in accuracy like the side turret mounted ones do.

High tier modern planes and tanks is all missiles and vehicles cringing from behind cover, peeking with thermal imagers, ever fearful of sudden destruction from the wonder weapons of today. Like at the end of the Movie, Patton, the old general is asked about wonder weapons - "push-button bombing, weapons that don't need soldiers." Patton responds, "Wonder weapons? I don't see the wonder in them. Killing without heroics? Nothing is glorified, nothing is reaffirmed? No heroes, no cowards, no troops, no generals. Only those who are left alive and those who are left... dead. I'm glad I won't live to see it."

Im so glad to see that part of my next BR for my main lineup is still so outclassed in the matches it gets put into lol. And knowing my luck of constantly getting nothing but uptiers, cant wait to get shredded non stop because I have to try and shoot through ERA with nothing but explosive shells options lmao. Gotta love the American tech tree between 5 and like 9-10 BR

I main this tank until cause it is my first tank at rank VI. It is hard to use this tank, but everytime when this tank works well... its fun 👍 Seeing this video brings back the days where I struggle grinding this tank. It was frustrating, but now its fun.

I request a video on the He 100! It's stupidly fast for 1.7, can hold 550+ km/h at deck no problem, excellent climber, only downside is it's engine likes to burn so keep an eye on the temp. Not too OP, and super fun! Bring it to a higher br for a challenge if you want (day 10)

I like the starship. It's a dead end design and it doesn't do well in the game or irl but i like it anyway. I also once managed to nab a technical manual for m60a1, a2 and a3 at a local surplus store. it's the size of a cinderblock.

The M551, M60A2, and T95E1 should all go back to 8.0. M551 should also get its M551A1(TTS) upgrade package as a modification, AND the M409A1 HEATMP is missing a lot of it's post-pen and the overpressure it should have against really light vehicles.

HEYPHLY I wanted to introduce to you or to any people reading the comments to the =TSR - 2= Which I believe was something like a possible British weaponised SR-71. Sadly it never left testing because of a change in the government but it managed to reach faster speeds than the Lightining at full afterburn with ONLY 1 of its engines. I might be slightly off with that information but basically. It was a mach 2 + capable nuclear and conventional bomber with recon capabilities and it looks quite unique. DP: I just found out it had 30,610lbst in EACH engine . thats almost 14 tonnes per engine??? Apologies for the use of crude and simple terminology

Problem with this vehicle is that the sheridan does almost everything better and it can carry 10 atgms instead of 7. The LRF is a plus but it's such a low velocity shell that it's quite hard to use at range.

so, I use this tank only for HE dunk fun with benefits from laser-rangefinder, cause HEAT is just impossible to predict in same situation even it still effect on some raw armor.

The problem with the M60a2 is that it’s designed to be primarily a defensive tank. Because it’s missile required the gunner to keep the crosshairs on its target until impact, the ability to shoot on the move was highly degraded. As a result, the “Starship” was supposed to be utilized in prepared, dug in positions to engage invading Warsaw Pact vehicles and blunt any attack while more maneuverable units would flank. They didn’t last long in use as the technology was too finicky for the rigors of the battlefield and were replaced by M60a1s. One positive thing that came from them was that the laser range finder was perfected on the a2 and integrated to the M60a3s as part of their upgrade program.

The HE though weak can still kill a lot of vehicles HEAT struggles. Like t55, t55 am1, t55 with ERA, leo a1a1. You have to shoot turret cheek and it over pressures them. Currently my 2nd best 8.3 vehicle with the m60 aos.

*Begin Transmission* Day 89. Ahhh the Starship. Yes, a very under appreciated engineering vehicle. It may not be wise to use it in combat per say, but it has its useful times. It’s similar with the T26E4 Super Pershing. It didn’t see much action, but when it was called into action, it really did shine. *End Transmission*

I too have long wondered at the life's of the manual review folks. My suspicion is a bunch of guys in India. Reason I say that is because generally my content doesn't have a problem after review EXCEPT for one I did on the Nanchang J-12, which they turned down and I have no idea why. Considering the...issues...between the two countries that is my best bet. And Phly, I've been loving your stuff since back when you played with the Baron. You keep getting better and better.

Honestly this tank works better with HE. Focus on soft targets and try to go with under hull/turret roof shots vs other tanks.

The ACRA is at 8.3 even though it's literally the same but without any of the "redeeming features" that this thing has. In what world does Gaijin think these two vehicles are comparable? No armor, stabiliser, HEAT shell or laser rangefinder.
