Okay I know I’m a creep for having noticed this, but listen to the melody she’s singing at the very end of the song, and then listen to the strings in the opening of Garden Song. I think that’s the overarching melodic theme of the entire album and it’s so fucking haunting. (Note: it’s only in the music video audio not the single release)

Anyone else notice that on the outro the last bit that she sings is similar to the beginning violin stuff from Garden Song? As of right now, this is the track I’m most into, but all of it is great. I’m just curious if she’s doing a bit of concept album stuff. I would definitely be into that. It’s also funny to me that this has been called her “sophomore album” as if the Boygenius and Better Oblivion stuff doesn’t count. She’s been working her ass off recently, and I’m grateful.
