such a good tutorial and such a good teacher - simple, clear, and most importantly you leave space for the learner to kind of try it out in various ways, building up slowly to version closest to the original

Walking Scott Street, feeling like a stranger With an open heart, open container I've got a stack of mail and a tall can It's a shower beer, it's a payment plan There's helicopters over my head Every night when I go to bed Spending money and I earned it When I'm lonely, that's when I'll burn it Do you feel ashamed When you hear my name? I asked you: How is your sister? I heard she got her degree And I said: That makes me feel old He said: What does that make me? I asked you: How is playing drums? You said: It's too much shit to carry And what about the band? You said: They're all getting married Do you feel ashamed When you hear my name? Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Anyway, don't leave a stranger Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Anyway, don't leave a stranger Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Don't be a stranger Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh ooh

In this version she sings "They're all having babies" and it sounds like "Anyway, don't be a stranger" Not "don't leave a stranger"...the "..to me" is implied. :-)

Also she sings "I asked..."How's playing drums?"", "You said "It's too much....""

So I’ve only been playing for a couple of months and really don’t know how to write this down properly / in the easiest way, but I *think* the verse riff is: 2 beats G chord: D---D-DU 2 beats D chord: DUD-DUDU (lift the first finger off for the last upstrum) 2 beats „A chord“: D-DUDUDU (hammer on your first finger on the D string at the „-", change your first finger from the D to the A string for the second to lust upstrum) 2 beats „C chord“: D-DUD-DU (hammer on your second finger on the third fret of the A string at the first „-", hammer on your first finger on the second fret of the D string at the second „-", lift off that first finger for the next downstrum)
