Me and my mom were OBSESSED with this song cause it was on a car commercial. I remember waking up one morning for school and right as i came out of my room, the video premiered on VH1. We sat there and sang along to the whole song before taking me to school that morning, great memory.

2009 was an amazing year. I work in advertising and it was a lot of location jobs that year, with a lot of long drives to and from work with an amazing group of fun and creative people. 1901 was ubiquitous and on everyone's playlists. This was before social media and over sharing. It was great to live in LA at that time. It's all gone now, but it's great to look back and be grateful to have had those years.

I heard this song for the very first time 14 years ago in 2009, I was in 6th grade and was only 11, I’ll never forget. It was a on a car commercial, I was in my room and heard it from the living room so I ran out and went straight to the computer and my mom helped me find this song. After all these years I still get the same feeling. Actually more so now, I can go back to how I felt then and what was going on around me and how bright the world was. I miss it so much, I’ll be 27 in a few days and I’m upset at how fast time goes. I’ve lost a lot of people I love along the way but one day I’ll be gone too and until then ima keep blasting this song. Much love everyone ❤️

Thought maybe he died. Next day saw him back at our campground *pizzah in hand. Bizarre adventure. Not sure what he took.
