I definitely want a front camera.... you can do a front camera on it... it has a hookup... and find a badges front camera for yours.... I'll follow what you do..... Appreciated Brother

I love this video you put together.... I did find the link. I bot mine in two months.... March of 2019 I ordered it, but haven't installed it yet.... I hope it's not got a problem when I'm done installing it.... Install looks easy enough..... Totally appreciate your video.... hope you can make more..... Any plans...??

Sorry for the lag! Unit still works as it did on day one! I have made some small tweaks and have learned a ton about the unit so I’ll try and make another video soon :)

@@autolux30 no problem on the lag, but I'll tell you I got hit by a cop... T-Boned him... Totalled my Raptor.... I had to get another truck.... 2021 F350... Has a great 8" nav stereo, but is there a good unit I can get for it that'll be like and work with OE...?? Ant tweaks I can make on the current nave system...?? I bet you'd know something..... Hey man I've been searching for days. How were they able to install that with Sync 1? I've read it's almost impossible to install any aftermarket screens on 2012-2013 Raptors. You're the first person I've seen that has this. I was just about to go to bed and tried this video before I threw my laptop at the fucking wall lol. I recently bought a 2012 and everyone says you can't upgrade dashboard of those. Thank you so much for making this video! Do you have a link to the item you purchased? The site Phoenix automotive doesn't seem to have this listed. Looks great in your truck man!

So you had Sync 1 in your truck, did you retain the Sync or did you bypass the Sync module? I think the Sync module died in my Expedition and the dealer wants a stupid amount of money to replace it, if I can use something like this and not even use the sync module I think I'd be in good shape.

Stupid question why don't you just buy an SSD 1t replace that spending hard drive. That would speed everything up and then if you're going down a bumpy Hill it won't break the SSD like a hard drive would

hey man, the install doesnt mess with Sync. You can switch over to the OG Ford software at any time.

you'd have to check fit for the unit on their site, but all my steering controls work perfectly after the install. Losing stuff was not an option for me.

Does your vehicle have the full console, where the vent trim pieces run into the trim that runs along the console. I have seen some installers that just peel those away to get the top screws out, I'm kind of a chicken shit, but, I don't want to take it all apart either. Thanks

if you take it to a professional spot, they should be able to install this flawlessly without damaging a thing. it's all using the same mounting points.

I think it was almost 2 months. Customer service is atrocious with Phoenix unfortunately as well so it’s just a waiting game with little info until it actually ships.

installation? there are some. there are also tons of horror stories from folks that rolled the dice and installed on their own. Paying the extra dough for professionals to put it in was way worth it to me. Ive had none of the issues I constantly read about.

I've heard these units are very sensitive to heat. Just like Android phones, these Android tablets wont power on on extremely hot days (99+).

Everytime i put my truck in reverse it stops my music... anyone know how to fix that??

If you have backup sensors in your rear bumper & put it in reverse it beeps the closer you get to an obstacle. The stereo automatically mutes so you can hear the beeps. You can disable the park assist sensors (If equipped) Otherwise just hitting the volume up/dn usually bypasses the default. (For me, anyway)
