Saber athena is my favorite

interestingly the only part of Saber we had to "cheat" was her codpiece, because the armor plates in the movie extend IN to her interior, which wouldn't work for a human wearer. The rest is scaled accurate to the movie.

Because I put a year of my life into assembling and designing these suits only to have it fall apart the second I tried using it?

@ZCS Dave I made it. It fell apart because I wanted to have the swords be removeable for ease of transportation. I'm 7 feet tall in the suit, the swords are like 4 feet long on their own made of steel, PETG, and with a foam "core" to keep them light and prevent the u-bend from collapsing in on itself. They each weigh 8 lbs. You'll notice that none of them actually break, in fact we had nothing break on any of the suits the whole day. They just weren't as secured to my arms as they could have been so they slid off when I went to swing. Had I gone for what I should have to begin with and anchored them to the forearms direct I would have welded them to a cage that would have been secured to my forearm AND my hand, then they wouldn't have moved an inch. Of course then the risk becomes that I'm swinging around 4 foot long clubs on each hand...

As the guy who's in Obsidian, you are correct. It would have worked fine, I just fucked up by wanting to make Obsidian's swords removeable for ease of transport. As a result they weren't anchored properly so I couldn't be as aggressive with them as we had been in practice and they still slipped off. Fun fact though, nothing broke.

As the guy in Obsidian, sure Uprising was a let down. But as the guy who also made these:kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rcqadql90ZfMqmQ.html part of being a fan is finding the good even when the end product lets you down.
