Another great vid tutorial! As a side note, what I typically do to remove the halo effect from a selection is the clone stamp. Works particularly great with hair.

The usage of the adjustment layers was pretty legit, Have always stayed away from using the curves and levels as much as this but now I think I'm gonna go for it.

An excellent and informative tut as is to be expected ; ) I use field blur a lot and tend to do the DOF via masking. Hadn't really thought I could just do it directly while in the filter mode. The little anchor tip was cool as well. I've only really just started messing with distort/warp/skew etc. a tut on free transform options would good. On a different note, I use a levels adjustment layer for D+B one set on screen and the other on multiply with a black mask. Then you can go in with varied opacity and brush in the D+B where you want it. I find it's more flexible this way and you can go in and mess with the mask as much as you like. I've never been over keen on the D+B tools in PS. Again thanks for a great tut and all the work you put into these : )

At 25:06 I had suddenly to stop and replay: how could I even not know that it's possible to set more than one single point when using the field blur tool?....... Thanks for another brilliant tutorial! Btw, I like the 60p videos much better than the previous 30p ones. Don't ask me why, but it looks better to me even without heavy movements within the video.

Haha, thanks, I guess! I've been brushing it the same way since I was 12 years old 😂 Just get it cut every 5 weeks or so and use a brush or comb with wide teeth (so it looks more natural when it dries) and you should be fine, haha

Question, I studied your video on how to composite a car correctly using the cars vanishing points and the back plates horizon line. I am curious as to why you didn't use the technique for placing this subject into that background correctly. If you shot the subject wouldn't you have a way of telling where the subject's horizon lines would be and use that information to line it up correctly with the back-plates horizon line and then resize or reposition subject.

Love your videos mate... just a quick question, at the beginning of this video you show some sort of animation of the layers from the beginning to the final manipulation. Can you do that sort of animation through photoshop. I have many manipulations that I would love to do fade ins and outs plus showing through animation how I built the file. Example... I start with a photo of a person and that person (photo) stays exactly were it is and slowly the rest of the image starts appearing from behind or in stages. Basically, showing how the file was built but in a tasteful pro way. Similar to what you did at the beginning. Anyway, thanks for any help in advance, and thanks for all the help with the videos. cheers mate
