such a beautiful experiment! whenever i get exhausted while studying, I always search for the experiments whose theory i am studying in the syllabus, atleast better than scrolling phone mindlessly and at the same time strengthning my concepts.

mam, I think frequency depends on the source and as wavelength changes colour of light. when we are using a filter the wavelength of light falling on the metal plate would change rather than the frequency .thank you mam for a very nice explanation.

The way each light has a different wavelength similarly each light has a different frequency too! You can also do the experiment considering wavelength but in that case E= hc/lamda you will have to use.

That would imply the speed of light is varying if the freq is fixed but the wavelength changes
