Photographer is exactly the kind of sound trance needs this day and age. Its so refreshing to hear an artist like him and remind you of where trance started and where it should have all evolved to.

+Kristof Szabo trance started way different. John 00 Fleming or Reaky are closer to where trance started. (early 90s style)

***** Try looking up Allen Watts, Will atkinson, Sam jones +Will reese, Sebastian Brandt, Bryan kearney , John O'callaghan, Menno de Jong, Robert Nickson, Simon Bostock, Ian Standerwick, Eddie Bittar, Johan Ekman, Aly and Fila and Activa. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence or knowledge i just thought you might like some of their tracks if you haven't heard of any of them. They may not be the style you like- you may love them i do and have bought lots from that list of producers to put in my sets. And yeh also love photographer. Hope you find some nice tunes-peace

his style is very hard to emulate imho because it is based on the way he engineers his tracks (rather than the sound itself). Very clicky transients, kickdrums with a long but very short tail with bass which is generally considered too loud for trance. The sounds themselves are incredibly generic.

I think organizers like a party having a certain wave in the music as the night goes. I am sure John O'Callahan would have rather dropped a bomb like Photographer did, as he mostly do, but after a set like Markus's you can't have the bpm in sync with the emotional level lifted 5-10 steps up immediately. That would made the audience lose momentum.

yes, but you can do that with your set, like armin van buuren does. Organizers and dj in this event should go full bmp little earlier than 2 last artists IMO. I know how good can JOC be, listen ASOT 650 when he collab with Aly & Fila ;)

TranceForce1 Not an issue of debate. I also know Johnnie's mercilessness, and furthermore this event could be more famous if there are more upliting and faster sets. But the central DJ is Markus, the event is built around his style.

That's what's great about this set. I've been getting a little tired of Uplift lately, then I heard this set and it blew me away. It's a little bit harder without crossing over to Tech Trance. :)

This theme was a once in a lifetime epic set! I wish I was there to see it! If I had a say I would bring this to Tomorrowland and give the biggest most beautiful concert the world ever seen! For the most part whoever is controlling the lighting is not doing a very good job staying with the music. I wish they gave the controls to me, it would have been perfect!

не пишет больше твой фотографер, ему гострайтил f.g. noise который из-за войны сейчас тоже не пишет. А те кто писали в стиле фотографера (типа skyfield - legion) сейчас тоже не пишут такую музыку, потому что фанаты застряли в асоте 2010х и не поддерживают артистов, которые не прошли через койку Армина. И поэтому транс-сцены больше нет, dj feel сейчас больше мобилки обозревает, чем фестивали проводит.
