2 ай бұрынBraving the elements to capture the majestic 34067 SR Battle of Britain class 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive train Tangmere thundering along the historic Settle to Carlisle Railway line. Despite the wet and windy conditions, every moment was worth it to witness this icon in action. Photography gear: Canon EOS 5D Mark II paired with the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L lens, capturing every detail in the midst of the storm. For videoing, the Sony NEX-3F E Mount 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 OSS lens and the Olympus Tough TG-5 were the dynamic duo, ensuring no angle was left unexplored. Sometimes, the best shots come from pushing through the challenges nature throws our way.

Shame about the soft images & the overcast skies for the passing steam engines, it's sods law that you got the light when the diesels went passed though... regardless, you produced an excellent video again (in Englands very own northern wild west...) And 10/10 for the thumbnail, the intro & the effort you put in. Thanks for taking us along.

Just a wee bit blustery that day, was it? You had a lot going on with the three cameras, wind, rain, and the trains...and of course when you are packing up to go home, you get some beautiful light! Excellent vlog, made me actually laugh out loud at the stile, even on the second time. So good to see a fellow Benbo tripod user, mine is the trekker :)

Thanks for the comment 😁. We'll have to set up a Benbo owners club 🤣. I love the design and usability. I saw a Benbo 1 (the big one) in a second hand goods shop which I regret not buying. I wish Unilock would make a carbon fibre light weight one.
