I recently met up with my friends Thomas Heaton, Gavin Hardcastle, Brent Henderson & Adam Gibbs to photograph the epic Canadian Rockies. This is the first day of the amazing 4 day trip.

I moved to charlston from California, before that I lived in Colorado. These Mts, I've been in Utah,New Mexico, Cali, AZ, Washington state, Oregon, when I am out, out there I am most II alive, I live in Charleston SC now, I hope my travels to the smokie mts will being me some joy.I miss the western US. This videos has me longing for the great outdoors . The sound of silence, the beauty and the peace of it all. I long for the wilderness like an old lover, how its beauty raptures me up away from the noise AND the hate we see in the world.

wow, I love this landscape. I'm sooo fucking jealous about the landscapes in North America. I hope you appreciate what you have there. And I really really hope that this will be preserved for the next generations. It is also nice to see you with one of my another favourite landscape photographers Adam Gibbs! You should make more shows together :)

Just wow! Great video, favorite shots were the z and methane bubbles and the pressure ridge ice formation and mountain in the background that you focus stacked. Can not imagine how much fun it would be to stumble across the four of you in one group, amazing you tubers, amazing photographers, but even more amazing people. Thanks for letting us be a part of your adventure

The winter wonderland!! Great use of the ice and snow to create a nice foreground during sunrise there. Haha. The troop slomo shots are great.

Really nice video! I love the image at 13:45. I get the part about the foreground ice lining up with the mountain peak, but to me it’s the bright reflection on the ice to the right that ties everything together.

What a cool adventure for you guys. I thought maybe those Canadians were gonna give you some curling lessons with that broom you were lugging around. At least you weren't dragging an extension ladder around like a couple of those guys did recently. Beautiful scenery up there in the Canadian Rockies and your images captured it well. Nicely done Nick!

I have to say that the 5 of you make the perfect photography dream team. All of you are original and unique, your visions are all unique and you respect and admire each other's work and respect each other as photographers and friends. This doesn't happen that often I'm afraid, so it's hugely inspirational to see you guys come together, especially Thomas coming from the UK to be here is icing on the cake. I only live 5 hours from where you guys were, so this is inspirational for me to see these newest videos. It might just get me out of my photographic slump.

It goes without saying that you guys are all fantastic photographers individually. Together, on an adventure like this you're a real hoot. I'm a big man and my snowshoes are about 2-3x bigger than those puny ones you're using in the video. Even so, snowshoeing is hard work and strains your muscles in unfriendly ways! Keep 'em coming!
