I have a recommended gear page on Amazon. That's here www.amazon.com/shop/walidazami
There are a whole bunch of other things that I recommend on my Amazon store. BTW creators get a tiny percentage of sales when you click one of our links. We’re not getting rich from it, it just helps continue the free work for the community. The price you pay from the Amazon affiliates does not change.

Hey Walid, great video full of much needed information as always. Would you be able to do another one about insurance policies that one should have in order to rent out the studio? What to look for when shopping for insurance, what kind of insurance, etc? 🙏

Masterful content. I'm so appreciative of your wisdom, experience and encouragement. Sorry about your gear getting stolen from your car (and the damage to your car). Hopefully your car insurance takes care of you.

Pretty good info over all. I’d say the official vflat thing is very privileged. Where I’m at, it would cost me more in shipping to buy an official vflat than the official vflat itself. Also the natural light thing, sure I agree but only if there is curtains to block it out when needed. If you can’t, one again you cut down your potential clients,

Thanks for you comment. The V flat is very $$$ but you can say even having a camera is privileged. I am hoping that people see what's required and then they figure out loopholes around that. And YES to the block out curtains!

@lucy-dk5cz check your local camera shop they might carry big sheets of foam core board (same material as official v flats). I got two sheets of 48"x96" double sided (black and white) for $100, and made my own V Flats. They are much bigger in size than official v flats and I love it.

hi walid! i appreciate your studio video series so much. i'm investing in my first studio space and had a question: for listing add-ons (lighting, equipment, props, etc.), how do you go about providing them when operating remotely? to clarify, i wanted my studio space to be as hands-free as possible when not in use for my personal photography sessions. if somebody were to add on a steamer, for example, when booking on peerspace, what would be an efficient way to keep it in my studio without it being accessible to anyone who didn't pay for it? -- that's also on top of not physically going to my studio to leave items out for bookers when they request add-ons. i hope that made sense haha. i'm wondering if that is even possible. any insight would be VERY much appreciated! thank you.

You don't want this answer but I'm going to say it. Please put someone in there. Forget about the steamer...if one monster is awful to a model, or something is accused...you don't want an unattended studio. It's more profitable to run the studio by itself until something happens. Please set yourself up for success, not a liability.
