Put an egg in acrylic and see what happens.other channels have done it but not with time lapse

It went from a watermelon into a pizza slice into a moldy bread, all while looking like it was boiling on a frying pan. I'm not sure what I was expecting but definitely not that. :D

This watermelon is not ripe. try a ripe watermelon with black mature seeds.

I'd love to see the same thing with a seeded watermelon to see if the seeds sprout or if they start decomposing

@@PotatoMC1 The white "seeds" are a result of being bred to be seedless and are incapable of growing. Fun fact: the way they get seedless watermelons is by breeding together watermelons that have different numbers of chromosomes!

This one was really cool. Loved the "in soil" idea, with not as much air getting to it as quickly. I was secretly hoping, like a child, the seeds would sprout a plant. 😉

I saw a comment that said watermelons with white seeds are actually ‘seedless’ variety so the seeds can’t sprout

You're videos demonstrate the resiliency of life. The watermelon, even as it decomposes, provides nutrients and water so that new life can grow and thrive. It is weirdly beautiful.

The commitment and editing is amazing! This channel deserves way more subs. Seeing things decompose is oddly satisfying. It would be interesting to see a time lapse of an ant farm.

Usually I really don't like watching things decompose, but watching it happen in soil was much more interesting (and less gross than usual for me). Also watching it reverse after it gets to the end is satisfying

@@XmarkedSpot Actually, if the seeds were mature, we could have expected to see some sprouting, as they usually sprout within 14 days.

@Isabella B watermelon seeds do not need to be black to sprout. color of the seed depends on the variety. i have seeds from at least half a dozen heirloom watermelons varieties and many have white seeds.

@@StereoJoseph no. The fertility of the seeds is what does that. Live soil just poses more risk to viable seeds as it opens them up to pests Edit: it's actually better to germinate seeds in a sterile soil free from fertilizer of any kind

Would love to see what happened after day 34 and beyond. Also, I wonder if being exposed to light and up against the glass made a difference. It is so interesting how little things have such huge impacts. Kinda like reducing waste.

This is gmo watermelon. Seeds won't grow. Majority of your fruit bought in stores is gmo. At least in the US.
