My favourite part of these videos is seeing nature in action, if you think about fungi as animals, it adds a factor of beauty to it, just creatures trying to survive. This one is extra special in that regard because the flies actually built a whole nest in the pumpkin. Honestly I would have loved to see them hatch though I do understand why you cut the experiment before it happened.

Happy Halloween!!!! I was thinking this would be funny to let the pumpkin break down out in the front yard for extra frights lol Then the seeds came to life for more scares. Cool music, too. Turnip jack o'lanterns? That does sound creepy.

Happy Halloween! Yes, just google turnip jack o'lanterns, they look creepy in my opinion. Like... in a dark way :D For how long do you leave the pumpkin outside? I'm not sure, but maybe your neighbours would take it as you don't care enough to clean it up. We don't really put jack o'lanterns out in Hungary or Austria, but in the recent years more and more people do it. I never carved a pumpkin in my life before, this is my first what you can see in the video.

@@PhotoOwl People don't leave them out for very long. I remember seeing jack o lanterns out on porches in the neighborhood when I was younger. Of course there were the knobs that would go out and smash them.

Hahah, no problem, you can give me as many ideas as you can come up with :D I add all of them to my list, because I don't have the capacity to film all of these at the same time. Icicle time lapse, done: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n5ient2jnp2daIk.html And this is my variation for the ice cream time lapse, what I felt I had to do since I have a time lapse channel, but I also wanted to do it differently than other creators. Almost every time lapser starts with clouds, ice cubes, ice cream, candles. So in these I try to include something unusual, this time the ants in macro. I filmed the rotting pumpkin last year, and it was the first (or second) thing what I filmed in the new studio. I wasn't prepared for the smell... I had no idea pumpkin smells this bad when they get spoiled.
