Dominique, I love your hair this color and style. Your outfits are adorable and the makeup and subtle hair changes show your great styling ability. Your posing is terrific, you know what you're doing. Models are taught to pose in front of the mirror to determine what it physically feels like. I have read that Marilyn Monroe always wanted a mirror behind her photographer, so seeing the images right away on the iPad allows you instant feedback not unlike a mirror. So great!

Love using my WiFi to export photos. Instant gratification or adjustment as needed. Natural light is the best light! I love his physicality in getting the great shot. You’re very fortunate to have a serious but also a good listener for your shoots.

Absolutely lovely! Please discuss the specifics of your poses. e.g. why/when you tilt your head this way or that, why/when to hold your chin at a certain angle, "knowing your angles", the expression in the eyes (widening the eyes), the lips, turning, positioning arms/legs, etc. Thank you!

Edna Mode seriously, it must be genetic. I can’t stand about 90 pct of my photos. Being big up top without much of a neck and the chins, ugh... I look like I am huge! How I wish for just a big rear end, doesn’t show in the head shots. Barbara Walters gave a tip before to toss your head back a bit and gently smile like at the start of a laugh. “ not so posed”

I agree with the photographer in the sense that parents should be in the pics with the children. Wonderful point. So many pictures of loved ones past and I wish I were in more picture with them. You look so comfortable in front of the camera. Stunning pics!

He is absolutely right!! I absolutely wish I had photos of me with my mum. She passed away recently and I have no photos of her and I together. Why? Because I always felt ugly, fat, my hair didn’t look good enough, my makeup didn’t look good or my outfit wasn’t perfect. I always had a reason for not being good enough for a picture and now I have nothing of me and my mum. It makes me feel so sad, especially when I see photos of my sisters with my mum. 14 years ago I had cancer on my nose and had to have 6 reconstructive surgeries to repair my face. I am becoming better about pictures and trying not to see the defect and accept that it is now part of who I am. It is hard though when I see these photos of you, Dominique. You are stunning in every way possible.

Question, do you use anything in particular for face lifting, such as NuFace? I know you do use Retina and honey cream.

Great insight from photography point of view. We just did a photo shoot as a family and I have to say it seemed caotic, but the pictures are amazing. Our girl has quite an eye for simplistic beauty! Loved the video!

Such a great video.....my Dad always had his camera with him....he must have taken a million pictures, some Great, Some out of focus....but some are priceless.....and it is so true to have pictures of the parent and child....back then, my dad took the pictures and was not in a lot of the pictures....which makes me sad....but I took up the camera and got some great shots of my Dad....,geez, I wish he were still here, with all of this the knowledge we have to day, I would be taking more selfies of my Dad and me !!!! Thanks for a great video !!

I really love that you have shown us what really goes into a great photo and the pro-tips from your photographer as well. I cringe when I see myself on camera, but then realise I haven't made enough effort (or any if it's everyday), with the hair and makeup and styling. It takes a lot of work! thanks for showing us the behind the scenes. :)
