I guess I'm just not as nimble minded as the other responders. I'm totally lost on this but will watch it again to see if I can make it work. I'm trying to write a couple's names in the sand and it kind of works using Generative Fill, but no matter how hard I try the spelling of their names doesn't come out right . Almost like I'll need to make a new generative fill layer for each letter and then composite them together. Sure would be good if you could revisit this using Generative Fill.

Presently, Generative Fill doesn't work well with text. Maybe it will in later iterations.

Yes. When you paste and transform the logo onto sand, reduce its "Fill" to 0% (Fill is below "Opacity"). Then, apply the same Layer Styles to it.

After you make the text thinner (4:12), and place it onto its own layer (4:27), you can convert it into a Smart Object which will allow you to replace the text without having to redo most of the effects.

Perfect. There is no "Radius" on the Quick Selection Tool of the V24.1. I would like to know where the Radius is on the Quick Selection Tool.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but in the original text layer, and at the point where you click "COLOR OVERLAY", the text changes colour - mine doesn't. It stays black?

It could be due to a number of factors all of which are human error. For example, is the Blend mode Normal in the Layers panel as well as in the :ayer Style window. Is the correct layer active. One would have to inspect your document to find the source of the error.

8:56 in layer mask thumbnail, the ground (sand) is black and the water is white. So my text is only visible in the water and not in the sand 🥲 Plz someone help!! What should I do? Do I have to select water again?

Invert the layer mask by making it active and pressing Ctrl (or Cmd) + i.
