In this video we will layout a vintage 1960s textile gouache painting into half-drop repeat using Photoshop. Items addressed: Preparing the artwork for half-drop repeat, seaming the repeat, reducing the number of colors in the artwork (indexing), and producing a new colorway (color table).
Hot Keys for Mac Users | For PC users, if I mention hot keys using Command ⌘, replace that hot key with Control (Ctrl).
Undo | Command ⌘ + Z
Copy | Command ⌘ + C
Paste | Command ⌘ + V
Select All | Command ⌘ + A
Deselect | Command ⌘ + D
Levels | Command ⌘ + L
Curves | Command ⌘ + M
Zoom In | Command ⌘ + + (plus sign)
Zoom Out | Command ⌘ + - (minus sign)
Rulers | Command ⌘ + R Hide
Guides | Command ⌘ + ; (semicolon)
Create a New File | Command ⌘ + N
Free Transform | Command ⌘ + T
Hand Tool | Spacebar
Eyedropper Using a Coloring/Drawing Tool | option
Eyedropper | I
Selections
To Add to Selections | Shift
To Delete from Selections | Option
Invert | Command ⌘ + Shift + I
Duplicate an Image Using the Move Tool | Option

What will be canvas size for bedsheet designing in photoshop please help

Hello Dilhar, to answer your question, there are many answers to your question. Are you designing a bedsheet pattern that is screen printed or jacquard woven? If it is screen printed, is it to be flatbed printed to the full sheet size or rotary printed? All methods of manufacturing will dictate the parameters of your Photoshop canvas size, and each manufacturer has their own set or parameters. If you are only designing concepts, not manufacture-ready design files, size your canvas to the best aesthetic outcome of the artwork.

When I use the offset, there is a huge gap in between the artwork, I don't know what I did wrong.

Hello! I recommend flattening all the layers before offsetting, this will contain your visible image to the canvas size. If the layers are not flat, the layer size can and maybe larger than your canvas size. In this case the result would be offsetting a layer that is larger (or smaller) than your canvas size.
