Best method hands down. Seriously. I’ve watched many tutorials of frequency separation from many top KZfaq photographers! But I still couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. Or would always have some discoloration or look messy. And I was so close to giving up using frequency separation. Until this came up on my recommendation. And I figured I’d give it one more go. And this has been hands down the easiest , and fastest method to use frequency separation! Thank you so much. I am super happy with the results! Finally!

Because I'm only following your instructions, but I don't know what I'm doing. I would like to understand the logic of the process. Sorry for being so stupid (lol) and once again, THANK YOU A LOT Man. You smashed it.

I appear to be having trouble replicating what you're doing? It's on the step where you type in the feather amount, then draw the lasso round the forehead and then gausian blur it.. (when i guasian blur, it doesn't blur the spots etc. the image looks the same no matter what strength i try? am i missing something)
