Hi Joseph, unfortunately the logo is custom lettering so it's not a font. However, there are some fonts that are in the same style out there. The ones I use I had to purchase but I'm sure you can find free fonts in a similar style. I hope this helps. Cheers!

Thank you! :) Yeah so you can use different colours instead of the variations of grey for sure. Just keep in mind that your shadows and highlights should be coloured as well and not just black / white. For instance, If you have an orange background make sure your shadows have a bit of dark orange maybe some red in them and that your highlights have some light orange and maybe a bit of yellow in them. This will make for a more realistic look. The is the dosage of colours try and experiment a bit with them. I hope this helps! Cheers!

Made by Mighty Hey, I have a question about the drop shadow. I'm interested in your file but I'd like to try it myself first, so the text should be nudged up to make one angle, and every time the guassian blur should be changed and then a new text should be added until there are 20 separate layers?

Yeah, for the shadow I would nudge it down and left keeping the same angle every time (if your light source is coming from the top right like in the video). And then gradually increase the blur value and reduce the opacity. It's a bit hard to explain in a comment but I hope you get the idea :) Let me know if you need better explanations. Cheers!

Hey mighty! This is the 2nd tutorial from you that I have watched and their easy to follow and great edit techniques to use. I did have the same question for this and another. For some reason my holding SHIFT and pressing down and left doesn't allow me to 'nudge' and I am working on a PC, any thoughts on this?

Thank you for your feedback! 😊 If you just move your layer by pressing the arrow keys (without holding Shift) does that work? It will move 1px at a time so it won't too obvious but if you press it a few times, does it move? I'll try and figure out why it's not working. Cheers!

How would I go about changing the color of the background and text? The white is clean but I'm going for something a little different.

Hey man! First for the background, when you set the gradient overlay instead of going from light to darker gray I would do the same thing but with a color value. So let's say you want a blue background make your gradient overlay so that the upper right corner has a light blue value and the lower left corner has a darker blue value. For the text, when setting the colour overlay instead of selecting a light gray like I did select which ever color you want. Also keep in mind, all my shadows were created using a some shade of gray so If your background is blue make sure you add in a a bit of blue in your shadows instead of just gray I will make everything look more realistic. I'm sorry this is a basic way of explaining it all but I'm kind of limited by the comment section. I hope this helps man!

when i try to use the rectangle tool to drag and make the square while holding shift, it doesn't create the second layer above the locked background layer like on your demo, whats going on.

Great style and effect! Suggestion: can you please explain in more details why you choose to create specific effect? Like why "bevel and emboss" and why "145 degree". How these will build up to the final look? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for you feedback, I think you make a great point. I'll definitely focus more on explaining why instead of just giving out values. I'll explain what each layer style option does and why I chose certain values. For instance here I wanted to have the light coming for the upper right corner so throughout the tutorial I believe I used 145 degree (or close to) so the light and shadow always follow the same direction. I'll make sure I cover the reasoning for things like that in future videos. Thanks again for your suggestion, cheers!
