hey man, I hope you can help me! Whenever I export the Image with the filter, the layerfilter is set to normal and not multiply. The whole image looks very bad and I dont know how to fix it.

The marque tool deletion isn't working for me. I highlight the portion of the mask and press Command+Delete (I'm on Mac) and nothing happens to it.

Did you check your foreground and background colors? It must be in Black/white

Didn't work for me neither. I had to invert the White/Black color.
