why only some portion of visible light is absorbed for the process of photosnythesis?

mam it's actually the red region where action spectrum has highest peak , despite maximum absorption in blue region maximum photosynthetic activity takes place in red region . though i don't know the reason for it. Hope you can correct it. And thanks a lot for your videos they are really great!.

There is one mistake is there mam 1. Chlorophyll a nm(449nm & 660nm) 2.chlorophyll b nm(453 nm& 642nm) 3.carotenoids nm ( 440nm & 470nm) Phycobilins 1.phycoerythrin nm ( 490 nm 546nm 556nm ) 2. Phycocyain ( 618 nm ) So i think ur graph will be wrong
